Summary: Typical Jenkins/LaHaye epic!
Review: Well, for the big Left Behind fans, not too much could be bigger than for Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye to come out with their second-to-last book in their now-famous Left Behind series.Jenkins, the primary writer of the series, doesn't disappoint, plunging into action from right where he left off in his previous novel, The Remnant. Rayford Steele executes an attempted rescue mission to rescue imbedded spy Chang Wong, in the midst of a God-sent plague of Darkness upon the camp of the enemy. The rest of the Tribulation Force is scattered and divided. The antichrist, his kingdom shrouded in darkness, is stepping up efforts to root out the Remnant of his enemies, the faithful Christians around the world. New friends and old perish as the heat is cranked up. Armies are prepared for the great battle of Armageddon. The protected thousands at Petra thrive, and receive new members daily. The Tribulation Force personally suffers tragic losses as the world plummets towards . . . Armageddon. I've never been a fan of Jerry B. Jenkins' writing STYLE per se, but his plots are riveting, and his story very thrilling, so that holds the reader to it. His new word this book is eschew, by the way. Jerry Jenkins, the avid Scrabble player, usually sticks a new word in his books for you to learn, and I noticed this new one at least three times. And I don't care what Jerry Jenkins says about not killing characters in his writing, but merely "finding them dead". The ending of this book, and the death scenes elsewhere were obviously carefully thought-over and planned. Jenkins kills his characters with little emotion; he's a cold, calculating killer, that's what I say. ;-) I suppose it is of note that the death scenes of the book hardly caused any change in emotion for me. It was just "Oh it's SO-SO who dies this time." Regardless, this book is bound to bring a sense of sadness to avid readers, as it is the second-to-last. Faithful readers will no doubt find it hard once the series ends, but then again, we all want to know what happens to the characters. Jenkins has his work cut out for him for book 12, Glorious Appearing.

Summary: As good as the others
Review: Book number 11 in the Left Behind series. The writing, as in all the books, is simplistic and easy to follow, written at probably an 8th grade level.
This one brings us to the battle of Armageddon and closer to the Glorious Appearing.
If you're like me you read the last book last year and you probably have a fuzzy memory of where it left off. It took me a few chapters before I finally remembered what was going on with whom and where.
If you are a fan of the series you will enjoy it.
Now we just have to wait another year for the final book... This book brings you right up to the day off or maybe the day before the second coming of Christ. As I read and I realized how close the action was to that point, I thought that maybe this was the last book. But no. ...

Summary: Armageddon
Review: The 11th book in the Left Behind series picks right up where The Remnant left off. Like all of the others in this series, I found it to be a page turner that I could not put down. Fans of the series won't be disappointed, and the story takes some twists and turns along the way that I found unexpected. I don't know if there is going to be another book in this series, because it really didn't state whether it would or not. If not, then they did a fine job ending the tale. Recommend the entire series to anyone, especially any Christians who have not read the series.

This book continues the powerful, evangelistic series of LaHaye and Jenkins, describing the experiences of the Tribulation Force leading up to the Battle of Armageddon. The word pictures are vivid, the characters are well-developed, and the plot is captivating. This series has compelled many persons to become disciples of Jesus Christ. I have read all of the published titles, and a few of the later volumes dragged in their pace. This edition returns to the original intensity of the earlier works. For persons who are familiar with the characters Rayford, Chloe, Buck, Tsion, etc., the twists and turns of this latest release should definitely NOT be missed! If you enjoyed the "Left Behind" series overall, you will LOVE this one!

Summary: this is a masterpiece!
Review: i cannot wait for the next book to arrive, the book starts off with not much action but then the pace picks up with chloe being captured, will she survive, will she be killed? that had me sprinting through half of the book, then there came the wild scampering all over the world as new babylon was destroyed and if things could not get more exciting, we are left with a cliff hanger wondering if rayford or buck died. great book indeed!

Review: One of the best in the series, Armegeddon will leave you begging for more! Summary: Excellent addition to the series
Review: I loved this book. It was one of the best books in the latter half of the series. Some of the other books were transitional and left you feeling like you didn't get enough of the story, but this book has a lot of action, a good plot and there are a lot of changes involving the main characters. The biggest mystery in this book is who is going to make it until the end. I can't wait for the next book in the series!
