Review: Anne of Green Gables is a wonderful tale in which any romantic, dreamer or reader should read. Anne is a delightful character which the reader can identify and relate with. Personally, I love the whole series, from this particular novel to the last, about Anne's daughter, Rilla(of Ingleside). These novels give any reader plenty of smiles, and even tears, while reading. Wether your looking for romance or a story about young girl, I strongly recommend this series of books to anyone ready for a delightful set of stories about a girl who blossoms into a woman.

Review: I thought that this book was very well written. It puts beautiful pictures of each word in your mind, and it seems to flow well. It started off by bringing you into the story early on, but unlike other books, you can not identify the point in which you get into the book, it just gently pulls you into the story without you noticing. At some times, the book lacks energy and excitement, but at other times, the wording and description of the scenes and characters almost enchants you. It is definitely a classic, and although it is not about love, a good word to describe it is romantic. I recommend this book to anyone!!!!!! -Katie Manning, American School In Japan, 6th grade.

This is the perfect get acquainted book for the first time readers of L.M. Montgomery. I have found that her books have a spirit and charisma that is hard to match. Her books are great for all ages! Review: I must say that books today are filled with a lot of smut, but this book is so innocent and sweet. I wish all books were this passionate. Every preteen should read this one! Look at me! I am 25 and I still read it at least one time a year

Review: Anne of Green Gables is about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley who seems to always get herself into a lot of trouble. It is fun to read of her hijinx and the little scuffles with Rachel Linde. L.M. Montgomery is one of my favorite authors and she does a superb job with this book. I have read it again and again and learn to love it more each time I read it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read

Summary: Absolutely delightful!
Review: I think the movie of Anne of Green Gables is not really good,because it twists some of the facts completely!! I've seen the play,and it was quite good,although it was an extremely condensed version,which made it not as good as I thought it could have been. This story,although at first you might think it a terrible ordeal to read such a thick book,is wonderful and keeps the reader absolutely captivated while reading it. The reason why I have read this book for over 10 times already,is because it has an effect of making you feel as if you were part of the story. Naturally,this has become a favourite and its other sequels,too are very heartwarming and touching,just like the original.
