Review: Anne of greengables (and all the other books by L.M. Montgomery) are amazing! They touch the inner soul and kindle the heart, mind, and spirit. The movie version of Anne of Greengables and Anne of Avonlee are exceptional too. Megan Follows portraied Anne Shirley with great mastery and skill.The "Anne" books are like a lotus flower, once you have your first taste you need more, you want more an you just can't get enough. My dream would to some day write a screenplay on Anne of Greengables because this book has taught me somuch and given me inner strenght like you would never believe. Erin S. Murphy

Review: Anne of Green Gables- LOVE it !!! I really enjoyed reading this book. Indeed Montgomery has a way of writing her stories so well, in this case of Anne Shirley as the orphan. She is so full of live, imagination, fun and joy that I truly love her!!..Thumbs up to the author...I love Anne Shirley. Anne is a person who loves from her mistakes and humbles herself and that is a trait I respect in Anne. She is a wonderfully profound and observant character that I feel I wish I could actually know her . Love it.! Two thumbs up!

Summary: Incredible! One the best books that I have ever read!
Review: Reading this book made me feel that I was born a century too late. Lucy Maud Montgomery tell this simple but incredibly riveting tale about how a little orphan girl finds a new home in Prince Edward Island. The characters are very well developed. A beautiful portrayal of the innocence in the good old days.

Review: Anne of Green Gables is fantastic! Everything is so traumatic to Anne! Her friend can't see her so she expresses great sorrow, or she reads a horror/love type book and acts out the play with deep emotions, etc. Anne is a character that nobody can forget! Her passions and joy will make you laugh and cry, her background will let you see how lucky you are, and where Green Gables is will make you enjoy nature more. I would recommend this book to anyone with a heart for romance and a taste for some the best fiction ever written!

Review: Two months ago I started reading Anne of Green Gabels. I imidently fell in love with that series, and now I'm on Rainbow Vally! I couldn't resist Anne Shirly, and all her friends and enimies, such as: Diana Barry, Fred Write, Jane Andrews( how could anyone forget the way she proposed for her brother!) Ruby Gillis, Susan Baker, Rebbeca Dew, Aunt Chatty, Josie Pye, and al her children. I think that everyone should read this book, and the person who put a six has no taste at all!

i really really do!
i'ts best read when you're a young teenaged girl. i'm twenty now and i started reading(and collecting)the ANNE OF GREEN GABLES series when i was around fourteen or fifteen and i still re-read them even now. i'ts the kind of book that really influences a young girl to be`just like Anne'. I know i have been. LUCY MAUD MONTGOMERY was a great authoress,i must say. I wish i had more of her books. One day i hope to visit Prince Edward Island,Canada. I mean to do some `ANNE' book-scavenging,dreaming and exploring.

Review: This one of the best apple classic books I've read. I bought last summer in Canada and where ever we went in the car I was reading it. It held my attention for the hole book. The only sad parts are when Anne almost gets sent back and when Matthew dies. I thought Anne was very tough, because she understand when she almost had to go back to where she came from. My dad read this book in one day he couldn't put it down and he said he loved it as much as I did.
