Summary: An imaginative and wonderful story
Review: I cannot put into words exactly how much I enjoy reading Anne of Green Gables. She is the most imaginative and lively girl who also spreads goodness and hope to whomever she meets. Anne is hopelessy romantic in her ideals, and I love how she embellishes on simple things such as when she changed the name of "Barrys' Pond" into the much more appropriate "The Lake of Shining Waters." Another example is how she insists that Marilla call her Cordelia Fitzgerald instead of Anne. Overall, the story makes me laugh at times, cry at others, but essentially every part of the engrossing story should capture minds that enjoy the descriptions of an inviting rolling pasture called Green Gables, the perseverance and laughter of Anne with an "E",and appreciate all the love and joy that Anne gives to the characters in her life as well as the reader.

Review: This book was my favourite as a child, and is still my favourite today. The best drama I've ever read. An amazing story featuring an amazing girl written by an amazing woman, Lucy Maud Montgomery. The sequels are okay, but this one is by far the best.

Review: A wonderful story of a young girl & the impact of her beautiful strong spirit! My 10 year old daughter & I read it together and we laughed, cried, & grew with Anne (with an "e"!), Marilla, & Matthew. This book will inspire your young girls to hold on to the strength inside of them! I can't wait to share this book with my granddaughter one day.

Review: Anne is a livily young girl with red hair. Her red hair is always setting off her temper and getting her into a world of trouble. Nobody can hate Anne for she is so lovable. She has many adventures that are almost unbelivable. You should get this book as soon as possible so that you can fall in love with the firey red head named Anne.

Review: this book is one of the best books in the whole entire world!!! i love how anne isn't a shy quiet "ladylike" little girl. i have seen the movie aand the book is a WHOLE lot better(then again when there is a book and a movie based on the the book the book is better, at least 99.9% of the time!!) i recamend this book to EVERYONE!!!!:)

Review: This book is essential for anyone who loves the spunky, adventurous type of character that anne is. At first, it was a little slow, but I quickly became involved in it. it is a little sad at the end (i came close to crying), but everything turns out all right. A funny, touching story.

Review: This book is fantastic. It talks about honosty, virtuosity, and vanity. It was really funny and very entertainig and I couldn't put it down for five hours straight becaise i read it and then reread it. I would give it a 10 star rating if i could. To the doctor who wrote earlier, all books don't have to be realistic. It was interesting and engaging and thats what counts. Defenitly my all time favorite book!!!!!!!!:)

Review: this is the very best book i have ever read. anne showed me that life is full of mystery and one is uncovered everyday. all the other books are just as good and if you are really into montgomery's books, read the ANNE OF GREEN GABLES TREASUREY!!!! ;) :)
