Review: Anne comes from a bad family and then she moves in with a good family. Anne learns to love and appreciate her new family. I learned that it is hard to be adopted into a family that really does not want you. I liked this book, but it was boring. I liked this book because it was a heart-warming book.

Review: It is absolutly great!!!! This is one of the best books I've ever read. Anne is a great charecter she is a very lively little girl. I absolutly LOVEher imagination. She talkes a lot and hardly stops, but that's just fine with me. I think that's one of the million reasons she iswonderful. Anne is so smart and adventurous. I reccomend this to every one in the world!!!

Summary: Entertaining and inspiring for readers of all ages.
Review: On a chartered bus tour to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island last summer, I took along my two-tape video of Anne. I was almost timid to suggest we play it on the way there, because we were all seniors, and about 40% were men. However, we started the tape. The women AND men sat transfixed. We stopped for a rest. Immediately on boarding the bus, one of the men prompted the tour guide to start the tape again. At dinner the men and women were discussing it as though they had just met a new, interesting family. Needless to say, many young ladies received gift Anne dolls purchased by grandparents who had just seen the video and who shopped in the many quaint shops on the island. The video was a hit and many of them said they wanted to get the books and read the whole series. I was surprised that so many of them had never read or even heard of Anne. What a shame. But I felt so good to have introduced them to one of my favorite characters.

Summary: Beautiful
Review: I have been a fan of Lucy Maud Montgomery since I was a small child and I love these books no less as an adult. I have read every book written (that's out in print) by Montgomery so far and I have cherished each and every one. Perhaps it is their simplicity that makes them so beautiful. Young or old I suggest everyone should read them. Although Megan Follows is wonderful as Anne in the movies those films cannot hold a candle to the written words.

Review: I have read Anne of Green Gables once and i must say it is a wonderful book. It is exiting and funny. Anne gets into lots of scrapes in witch she must pull herself out. Anne is a most charming charater. In fact the hole book is charming and exiting. Anne of green Gables will be and is loved by all ages and wether you read it or some one reads it to you, you will injoy the book. and I geranty that Anne will find her way into your heart. If you injoy Anne of Green Gables i suggest to read all of the books that follow.

Review: Usually if i see a movie before i read the book, i can't bring myself to read but this is an exception. LM montgomery is one of the best writers of all time. I have only read this one of all her books so far.. but i plan to read all of them. Anne is such a wonderful character and beautifully written by LMM. It was a wonderful story, very uplifting, and helped me through a tough time in my life. She is a true inspiration for me. This story is funny, endearing, and sad. I did cry even though i knew the story before hand. LMM was very good at descriptive writing. She could really paint a picture of what green gables must have been like.. this is one of the best books i have ever read, i am very late in reading it..i can't believe i didn't read it in grammar school. i was an avid reader then. now some 20 odd years later, i am reading and loving LMM's work.

Review: Anne of green gables is no doubt my favriout book of all time. Anne is such a loveble charecter with such a creative imagination. She gets into scrapes but manages to get out of them. her red hair and freckles vex her, but anne is truly a one of kind. This is a true classic.

Review: This book is very dear to me. I have read it several times, every time it makes me laugh- and cry. Anne is my bosom friend, now and forever. Anyone who thought this book "boring" is obviously not a kindred spirit.I love Lucy Maud Montgomery and all of her books. These are the other books I have read by her that you will also enjoy: Anne of Avonlea, Anne of the Island, Anne of Windy Poplars, Anne's House of Dreams, Anne of Ingleside, Rainbow Valley, Rilla of Ingleside, Emily of New Moon, Emily Climbs, Emily's Quest, Pat of Silver Bush, and Across the Miles. I have not read the rest of her books yet but I've no doubt they are superb also.

Summary: Wonderful for any girl at heart
Review: Anne of Green Gables is my favorite book in the world! Anne is delightful character that many girls can relate to. She is sometimes awkward and getting herself into trouble, but she is always loved! The books in the Anne of Green Gables series are some some of the few books I have read multiple times. Once I start to read one, I have to read the entire series again. I am 16 years old and these are by far my favorite books. I recommend Anne of Green Gables to anyone who hasn't ever read it or hasn't picked it up in a while.
