Rating: Summary: Thought-provoking and action-packed! Review: If you liked the other books in this series - you will love this book! I would not recommend it though to those who have not read the previous books. The authors left out a lot of the long restating of history from previous books that almost overwhelmed parts of the other books. It was packed with action and focused on the Big Meeting of the Tribulation Saints and on the recovery of Hattie. It also focuses on the next plague which is horendous. Probably the most riveting book of the series to date.
Rating: Summary: Exciting, can't put it down intrigue and world-wide fun! Review: The story is delivered at the great pace of previous books, exciting techniques and story line. Similarity to Revelations to excellent. The action is fast paced and it holds your attention so much that you just don't want to put it down.A great book in a continuing series. Can't wait until August's next release. I just wish I hadn't been hooked so early in the release time period, so I could finish the series in a shorter time line. Hope the suthors don't string this out to 21 books!
Rating: Summary: Fast paced page turner Review: Have read all of the books in the series and always look forward to the next. I read this book in one day and couldn't put it down until I finished. Although I agree with some of the other reviews in that there was a lot of "white space" on the pages, I think the content was still great. It wasn't quite as interesting as Nicolae to me though. I do hope the authors don't get in so much of a hurry that the quality of their work suffers. Let the masses wait!
Rating: Summary: This series keeps getting better! Review: A response to the reader in Hamilton... you apparently have missed the point of Apollyon and all the former books. As a former "lazy Christian" I have now been scared back into believing after reading these books. Not only are non-Christians becoming believers, but fellow Christians are having their faith strengthened. You need to re-read these books with a more open mind and a less negitive spirit.
Rating: Summary: Suspensful !!!!!! Review: I thought Appollyon was as good as the others.. i finished it within 3 days.. I finished all the others within 3 days also just for the fact they kept my attention.
Rating: Summary: The best book so far!I can't wait until August! Review: Where do I start? This is the greatest book yet! This is one of those books where I can honestly say I laughed, nearly cried, and sometimes had to stop to milk it all in.I'll turn 14 in August, and I can't think of a better gift than Assassins.Well, maybe a new computer..I couldn't help but feel sorry for the senile old Dr. Rosenzweig,or angry at the 3 Stooges(that would be Carpathia,Fortunato, and Mathews),or upset about Ritz,or joyous for Jacov and Stefan. All in all,I'd say this is a must read.If you don't already have it,get it.NOW!
Rating: Summary: Non-stop Awe and Excitement! Review: This the kind of book that once you start reading it, you can't put it down! It is extremely well written, and it'll have you captivated all the way to the end! There is not a dull part in it! This book is well worthy to be in the "Left Behind" series.
Rating: Summary: Good, scripturally accurate. Review: I have read all in the series. Each has been good and accurate according to Rev. Thought provoking. All believers and non-believers need to read.
Rating: Summary: Well fitting, highly informing book over the end times. Review: I can't really say anything bad at all about these books. I get more involved with them for every new one that comes my way. The faster they come the faster I read them. It's reduced to only a day a book after Apollyon. The latest, Apollyon, brings you even closer to the characters than before even to where you hate some of the others. The latest is extremely well versed and nearly impossible to find uninteresting!
Rating: Summary: Don't read 'em Review: I read this entire series in about four days. Fours days I wish I could have back. Not only are these books not "real literature" they aren't even as good as, say, Stephen King, who at least is interesting and makes rounded characters. I would like to respond to the reader from NY who wrote : "I know that a lot of people don't like these books for whatever reason. Please - think about it before you give these books a bad review!! It can't be easy to write something like this, so if you can't do better, maybe you shouldn't critisize. If you don't like the writing style - don't read them! It doesn't mean you have to bad mouth it to everyone else!!" You're right, I probably couldn't write a book at all, much less one even as good as the junk by Lahaye and Jenkins. That doesn't mean I can't have a negative opinion of their book. Since I can't write, I should refrain from ever criticizing ANY book that comes out? I can't play a write a song either; should I accept all the bad music out there for this reason? As for bad mouthing them to everyone else : yes I should do that. That's what this reader review section is for. Despite what you might think, it is NOT a section for only glowing, four star reviews.
