Rating: Summary: Deceptive. The tool of the devil. Review: Has it occurred to anybody that perhaps these books are the tool of the Antichrist? Wouldn't that be the ultimate deception? If evil comes disguised as good, then it is entirely possible that these books, rather than warning Christians about the end, are being used by Satan to deceive and mislead Christians. Perhaps Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are actually the mouthpieces of the enemy, wolves in sheep's clothing. Do not be deceived. Trust in the Lord, not in Left Behind.
Rating: Summary: fan-friggen-tastic Review: i am 18 and have finished the entire set (all 5 books) in under a monthe. Apollyon was by far the best and I hope they make a movie based on the last three books, like they are on the first two.
Rating: Summary: A realistic portrayal of the earth as it faces God's wrath. Review: Apolloyon keeps you turning the pages. It's non-stop-what's-gonna-happen-next intensity will keep you up all night. The descriptive qualities that the authors implement is great. It gives the reader a realistic portrayal of the earth as it faces God's wrath. It also gives the reader hope for the future.
Rating: Summary: They all get better as they go, and this is the tops. Review: My dad wrote about bible prophecy 50 years ago when it was not popular, and I have been studying it ever since. This book as well as the others are as close to the facts as possible and still so exciting to hold your attention to the point were you can not put it down. The only problem I can find, is the next book does not come on the market fast enough. Thank you Mr. LaHaye and Mr. Jinkins.
Rating: Summary: Give me more!! Review: I love this series. They are action packed and easy to read. They are not amazingly written but the information in them is well researched and somehow you just can't put them down ... you just have to keep turning page after page. I can't say which is the best book in the series but I can't wait for the next to one to come out. All I can say is to share them would be a reward to the reader in some way or another, and Tim and Jerry, hurry up with the next one!!! :-)
Rating: Summary: The most fantastic read, ever! Review: Like many others, I've collected all 5 books in this series and consider all of them to be the best fiction books I've ever read. I believe God has chosen Mr. Jenkins and Mr. LaHaye to get the word out from the Book of Revelation. And with each subsequent book, they do just that. Apollyon is the most polished work in this series, is a much easier read and leaves the reader longing for the next book, NOW! It has surprise twists and turns, but continues on the track set out for it by the Bible. If the world, indeed, lasts that long, this series will be the most read of all times.
Rating: Summary: An "Edge of your seat"er! Review: Can this series possible get any better? I received Soul Harvest for Christmas last year and decided to read the whole series over again at that point. It took me about 1 1/2 weeks to read all four. I could hardly wait for Apollyon and I definetly wasn't disappointed! Awesome! Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins are definetly gifted and annointed of the Lord! I only wish they could write them as fast as I can read them. When I finished Apollyon the other day, it was kind of a letdown because I knew it would be a while before I could continue on with the story of the Tribulation Saints. The characters are so real I almost expect to meet them in Heaven some day! Keep up the fantastic work!!! I love to suggest the series to my unsaved friends and loved ones because even though it is "fiction" it is also based on what is fast approaching and it is a great way to witness to people about the love of Jesus and about what is in store for the future of those who aren't ready to meet him. This whole series is just great and I can hardly wait for the next one!
Rating: Summary: The best book yet! Review: I have read all five books within a week, and I believe Apollyon is the best yet. I can't wait for the next book. Mr Lahaye and Mr. Jenkins really keep your attention and make you feet like your part of the story.
Rating: Summary: These books are a tool Review: To all those people who say that these books would never bring anyone to Jesus, I disagree. My Father, who is an unbeliever has read them all and loves them. He now asks my Mother about Jesus. It got his attention. He attends Church with her now. Something he has never done before. Praise the Lord!! He has not yet accepted Jesus, but he is a ton closer than before these books. I too pray for all those who gave these books poor reviews, they seem angry. At what? Maybe these books didn't work for you, but you need to realize that they did for others. You should be happy about that.
Rating: Summary: Riveting! Review: I have read all the titles previous to this one, and they just continue to get better and better. They each make you think, will this be the way the end will play out? I look forward to the next title with great anticipation! Thank you for making the reader THINK more about God.
