Summary: Very engrossing--you can't put it down. It makes you think!
Review: How would it feel to be left behind when Christ comes and raptures his church? What type of chaos would the world be seeing during this period in time? The book makes you stop and think that, "Hey! It could happen this way!"

Summary: Compelling Reading!
Review: Left Behind series excellent reading on the End Times. Wish as many non believers would read them as believers obviously do, because the message is quite clear - disaster if you are really "Left Behind". Looking forward to getting Assassins.

Summary: Still good....
Review: I thought this book was as good as the rest. After a bit, I got used to skipping over recaps and parts of the story that I had heard before. Being a non-Christian, I also skip over lots of the sermon parts written by Tsion. I am reading it for the excitement- and to see how the authors interpret what is in the Bible and how it unfolds on Earth. After 6 books it hasn't changed my religous views- but it has taught me what Christians believe.

One thing I really like about this series is that it seemd very real-because they use real places, newspapers, etc. Once, flying into Dulles airport I thought about the fact that it was supposed to be destroyed. The books stay with you and I have to remind myself sometimes that they aren't real (and probably never will be, in my opinion)

Overall- a very good series.

Summary: Very thought provoking and soul saving.
Review: This entire series was so soul stirring that it made me, a Christain, be sure that I want to be raptured up. I do not want to have stay behind and go through all the trials and tribulations that those left behind had to deal with. It was a series that made me take a look at myself and my relationship with God and to begin to improve on those things that could cause me to be left behind. It is a series that opens your eyes and makes you think about how important it is to have the best relationship that you can with God and to know that you have to know that you belong to Him without any doubts. It just really made me think about myself and if I truly had what it takes to be called up with him, and if not, if given a second chance as the Tribulation Saints in the series were, would I be able to stand "The" test of all time. I recommend this series to Christains and Non-Christains. It will give everyone something to think about.

Summary: Not quite as thrilling as the first four.
Review: I enjoyed this book, but it just didn't have the "edge of your seat" quality that the others had. I think these books are on a great topic, but no one can know what the end of the world will really be like.Anyway, they are facinating books.

Summary: It's wearing thin, boys.
Review: Really, how many times can you spin the same yarn into the same sweater? This is tiresome reading ala "Left Behind," "Nicholae" "Assassins" and "Tribulation." I've read them all, as well as just about every other rapture, doomsday and apolcalytpic novel on the market. Of them all, none compare with Kleier's "The Last Day," which is a terrific thriller and by far the best of the lot. This is an over-exploited genre. If you're going to get into it, at least start with "The Last Day" for a quality benchmark.

Summary: A good effort, but not as good as the previous books.
Review: While Apollyon continued the excellent storyline of the series, I felt the writers were losing some of their personal "punch" -- this book didn't hold your attention as much as the previous books had. I did like the upbeat ending, though, along with the fact that you can have excellent novels without a lot of "four letter words."

This series promotes "dispensational millenialism," as taught by the Evangelical churches. As an "amillenialist" Christian (the position of mainline Protestant and Catholic churches), we do not believe there will be a "second chance" following a rapture. Our opportunity to accept the Gift of Salvation is NOW. Do not wait for the "Last Days" to commit your life to Christ. NOW is the time to make the commitment that Jesus is (indeed)our Lord.

Summary: In all fairness, even a devoted loyalist must see flaws.
Review: Even a cursory analysis of the characterization and plot devices of this volume indicates a general decline in the overall qualitative effect of the series. Most readers are no longer gripped by the minutiae of the Israeli conflagration, nor are the impending catastrophes presented with plausibility or satisfactory allocation of pagination. Major events are dealt with in a summarily dismissive manner, and minor characters consume far too much dialogue space. A more credible reading of the eschatological importment would provide far more casualties and more attention to such details as food and water and other such life sustaining materiel. In short, the heavily perfunctory and homiletic approach of the authors prevents literary and theological appreciation from taking place to any major extent.

Summary: Gripping!
Review: I really enjoy these two writers. This book out of all in the series is one of my favorite. If a picure is worth a thousand words, then with just a few words, Tim & Jerry are able to paint thousands of pictures. Very real to life.

Summary: An update
Review: This book has passed the one million mark in sales and sold more than 100,000 in August 1999 alone, just over six moths since its release. All six books in the series are over a million in sales with six more titles to come. We are overwhelmed, but more important are the many stories of affected lives. Thanks to fans and critics alike for caring, and for the word-of-mouth that keeps this going.
