Summary: Who Said What???
Review: Give me a break! The dialogue in Assassins was ridiculous. At times, I didn't know who said what. It would have been nice if the authors could have written decent tag lines with the dialogue. It might have added more depth to the characters. A much better Christian fiction novel was LUMINOUS by Peter Quest.

Summary: They just keep getting better!
Review: I can't wait for the next book in this series. They just keep getting better. Jenkins and LaHaye are masters of suspense and this book is just another great example of their craft.

Summary: Very well written!
Review: The books in the Left Behind series just get better and better. Assassins keeps you on the edge of your seat, then leaves you there with enough clues to keep you guessing, (about who is the assassin) but not enough to be certain.

Summary: Betting Better
Review: The latest installment of the Left Behind series is an improvement over Soul Harvest, but not as good as the beginning of the series. The author teases the readers with new questions: What impact will the end days have on the mental stability of believers? How far can christians go in fighting the Antichrist?

There is a good dose of action, but the authors do not perform well when developing key events. (The death of the 2 witnesses is unusally quick as is their resurrection.) Also, the foreshawdowing for the future books is somewhat heavy handed.

However, when I placed the book down, I was happier than I was with the last and interested in confirming my own suspicions of who killed the antichrist, where was Hattie, and will Rayford pay a price for being there?

Summary: Assassins as good as the first book
Review: This book is certainly as good as the first book Left Behind. You simply can not turn the pages quickly enough during the last 50 pages. Of great concern was that the book was going to end too soon thus leaving the reader feeling taken advantage of - "cliffhanger to make you buy even more books."

Fortunately there was enough content in this book to make it enjoyable even though it did turn into a cliffhanger which requires the reader to purchase the next book. It is unfortunate that we must wait another 6, or more, months to read the next in this series.

I realize the need to do this since it increases profits - but for those who love this series, myself included, it is a painful wait.

I enjoyed seeing more scripture from Revelation in this book and thought the author's views on the middle chapters were insightful.

To any that might have been disappointed in book 4, which I was, this will wet your appetite for the series again, as did the 5th book.

Summary: Unbelievers......wake up!!
Review: Assassins is another victory for Jenkins and LaHaye.

This book definitely makes you yearn for the next book in the series. 6 months is such a grueling amount of time to wait! But it's been worth it!

Summary: What Suspense!
Review: Well, I'd have to say this is such a cliff hanger. I don't know how I'm going to stand the wait of the next book. There's the one question...WHO KILLED CARPATHIA??? This book was definately one of the best of the series, and anyone who hasn't bought these books, take my advice and buy them!

Summary: the Left Behind seires is keeping up the reputation
Review: "Assassins" keeps up the heartpounding reputation of the Left Behind seires. It's a great book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. First, read the five previous books, then buy this one. A wonderful book.

Summary: Let's get to the end
Review: Is it just me or are they trying as hard as possible to stretch this series out as far as they can? I do love the books, but Apollyon dragged a little and Assassins drags a lot. It is good to be able to see so much of each character, but do we really need this series to be open ended? Let's start to tie up some of the loose ends and finish this thing up. It is a great book though, and I did enjoy every minute of it.

Summary: Long awaited and worth it!
Review: Another great saga of the post-Rapture experiences of Cloe,Buck, Rafe and all the other Trib Force members. What a great weekender to read. I have already passed it on to others in my Prayer group. Thank you Jerry and Tim for continuing the saga. Your interpretation of Revelation calms me enough to read that part of the Word with no fear! The books in this series always leave me hopeful, stronger in Spirit and joyous!!! We will meet on that day! A great series for believer and nonbeliever, Christian and nonChristian. Some will find it inspiring others a good suspense story. Either way, it is worth reading. I'm ready for more!!
