Summary: Leaves You Wanting More!
Review: I thought it was a good read, but could have been written with more action. It felt like a part of a novel and not the better part. LaHaye and Jenkins need to have more conclusions and less lose ends. Over all a good read. ***** While I was waiting for ASSASSINS to come out, I ordered a novel called, THE FIST OF GOD by A.T. Nicholas. It's a phenomenal spiritual thriller! A great read! I would recommend to anyone who wants something good to read while waiting for the next one in the Left Behind series. (There is strong language in THE FIST OF GOD)

Summary: We deserve more for our money
Review: This sixth rehash of the same basic stuff has worn out my welcome. And now they intend to stretch it out for ANOTHER six books? Heaven help us! What people think is a witnessing tool is, in reality, nothing more than a profit mechanism for the authors and publisher. The public is being duped. Again. If you really want to wake up to the ploy that's being perpetrated on you, pick up a copy of a REAL eschatological thriller, the end-time book to end all end-time books, Glenn Kleier's THE LAST DAY. That novel has a heck of a lot more on it's mind than simply making a buck off of impressionistic people. If you have an open mind and you are willing to use it, read this novel. It puts the entire LEFT BEHIND series and its ilk to shame for their not-so-well-concealed, mercenary agendas!

Summary: BORING - Take a PASS!
Review: I got 1/2 way through and left it on the airplane. I have *never* not finished a book before. I would give this one a pass

Summary: Authors sell out once interesting and provacative series
Review: Upon reading the latest edition of the mother of all christian fiction series, I couldn't help but feel that Jenkins and Lahaye were too busy counting their royalties to put in the time and effort necessary to produce an even mildly interesting tale. I thought Assassins was in a word, horrible (I have never been that impressed with the craftsmanship of the series, but this was unacceptable). The book every six months timetable which they or their publisher has decreed simply does not allow the authors enough time to craft a story worthy of a reader's time (or money). The publicity surrounding the series suggests that the six month timetable is in response to readers urgent requests for more installments (apparently we just can't get enough). The real reason I suspect is that the Left Behind series has become such a cash cow. Whatever the reason, I think Jenkins and Lahaye, and Tyndale Publishing, should have the integrity to step back and make a renewed commitment to continue the series with well written, compelling stories about the "Trib Force" and the culmination of endtimes prophecy, instead of the uninspired, assemblyline-like garbage that was "Assasins".

By the way, I am a christian and I've read every book in the series, thus I am not attacking this book because of any anti-christian bias. I object to the direction the series has taken, seemingly sacrificing quality and integrity in the creative process in favor of a "strike while the iron's hot" mentality.

Summary: Well worth the wait
Review: This book is the best in the saga. I leaves you hanging but is really action packed. I can't wait till the next one comes out.

Summary: Captivating. Keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Review: The story of course picks up with the Tirb Force still hiding out in Mt Prospect,Il. Nicholia is still the world power as much as it disgusts me. I can easily see how such a smooth talker could con his way into the heart and soul of everyone especially after the rapture/disappearance. I would guess people would need something positive to believe in. It is a shame they just cannot believe in God and trust in him instead of a snake such as Nicholai. The hardest part for me was ending the book and remembering that I would not know who did it unitl the release of number 7 come the spring of 2000. That is a long wait. I don't relish waiting that long. The books are always worth the wait. Each book is a telling experience and this is no exception. It has helped me to be ready and AI cannot see how it and the rest of them would not do the same for everyone else. You can already see things forecast from the bible happening. The currency has already started to change. Are you ready?

Summary: This was one action-packed book that leaves you hanging!
Review: I read this in less than 24 hrs! The end really leaves you wondering who got Saint Nick. I think this was even more exciting than Apollyon. When you read this series, it makes you realize the importance of witnessing. I can't wait until the next book!

Summary: this book was worth the wait and I loved it!
Review: Assassins was all I knew it would be and more. Everyone is being stretched to the max and I really sympathize with Rayford. I can't hardly wait for the next book to see who gets saved and who waits too long. I am glad there are 6 more books to look forward to!

Summary: They did it again!!!!!
Review: This is the sixth instalment of the Left Behind saga. It is as griping as the others, but with a twist. You can't help but love the Trib Force and hate the you know who! This is a must read.
