Rating: Summary: Not the best of the series Review: I have to say that I was dissapointed. I love the other books, but have seen a slide in the quality. I understand that the publisher wants to extend the series from 7 to 12, but don't dumb down the text and stretch it out to fill the quota! This is too important of an issue to risk trying to make a certain word count...
Rating: Summary: Excellent!!! Very hard to put down Review: This book was so good I had a hard time putting it down, same with the others in this series. I can't wait for number seven and the others to follow. This make what's to come, real. I know the end days wont be exactly like this, but it's sure to be close to this. It makes me want to be prepared...to be right with God. I hope and pray you're all ready too. Read it, it will definately make you think about what's to come. God bless!!!
Rating: Summary: cannot wait for the next book!!!! Review: It is so wonderfully written! I could hate the end because it leaves me in such suspenise that I cannot wait for the next book!!!
Rating: Summary: No more than a witnessing tool. Review: If your faith needs a boost, maybe this will help, but as literature, it's wanting. The characters are paper thin, the writing lackluster, and the plot, decidedly simplistic. For readers who are looking for quality along with a jolt of realistic end-time terror, there are no better novels than Glen Kleier's "The Last Day," or Stephen King's "The Stand." Try either of these and you'll know what an adrenaline rush really is.
Rating: Summary: Born again Christian propaganda Review: Worst book I've ever read - I usually like stuff like this (The Omen, etc..) but this was really poorly written. The character development was poor. The born again christian propaganda was way to heavy (and obviously the goal of the book, as opposed to entertainment).
Rating: Summary: Another excellent book! Review: I loved this book! I couldn't put it down. The way that Rayford couldn't pull the trigger himself, but someone had to bump into him for the gun to go off. That was amazing! A show of how God works in miraculous and mysterious ways!
Rating: Summary: A Series to Leave Behind ... Review: Hey folks, this is SF and commercialism. Not exactly "the Word". Read the Left Behind, it is imaginative and actually very good. Then stop. The "backtracking" through earlier books is offensive to the reader who bothered to read the earlier books. These guys have nothing new to say here, just a desire to make a buck.
Rating: Summary: this book and along with the entire series is wonderful Review: Anyone who reads this book, and the rest in the series will find it entertaining as well as unsettling. If you did not believe before you read these books, you will by the time you finish. These authors have done a great job.
Rating: Summary: A fabulous story with a cliff hanging edge left behind. Review: The last of the great series that has kept me enthralled for two months now. I have read eagerly like a sponge absorbing water, and I am sorry to see the series end for now. In this one, I did occasionally have a tough time sorting out some of the characters, but other than that, I stuck to the story line like glue, and prayed with the others when the "Jerusalem-Twosome" prophecy came to pass. I am hoping as though it were real that Chaim Rosenzwieg has a cross on his forehead before his end, and I can even relate to Hattie Durham's need for revenge. Hell hath no fury .... I wonder who indeed the assassin was in the end, but I have my sights on Abdullah the pilot. The authors should be more widely pronounced and publicized, I am convinced more people would turn to God. What a wonderful way to reach out and preach. I am certain both authors have a cross on their foreheads.
Rating: Summary: Best book series ever written!!! Review: Once I read the first book, I finished all the rest in 2 weeks! Wonderful reading. You won't be able to put it down. The ending will have you on the edge of your seat just wanting to know who did it! Can't wait for the next novel in the series.
