Summary: Not as suspenseful or as exciting as I'd hoped
Review: I read this book for entertainment, not for a religious purpose, so maby that's why it didn't hit me as particularly intriguing. I much preferred Glen Kleier's millennium novel, THE LAST DAY, which, while having spiritual components to it, didn't hit you over the head with it. LAST DAY also deals with the Book of the Apocalypse and Judgment Day, but from a very different and more thought-provoking perspective. In my view, ASSASSINS is a much less meaty novel. LAST DAY offers more food for the soul and the mind.

Summary: Chaim Did It !
Review: The earlier books in this series were multi-dimensional, with prophesy fulfillment, great charactor development, romance and dialogue. This one, along with the previous two, tend to be more one dimentional with emphasis on prophesy fulfillment. One exception to that in this book is the Rayford Steele attitude changes.

With that slight criticism out of the way, I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. In my humble opinion, ....Chaim did it! All evidence points that way.

I'm looking forward to finding out who done it for sure in the next book.

Summary: Left Hanging
Review: Like the previous books in the series, I couldn't put this one down, waiting to learn who would assassinate Carpathia. I found the "Who shot J.R." cliffhanger to be very disappointing, although I will, of course, buy/borrow the next book in the series.

As far as Rayford is concerned, his change in attitude IS disturbing. I think it is meant to be. He has forgotten to trust in the Lord and come under the influence of the devil, who probably would prefer the PR value of having a Christian kill Carpathia. I actually think the Lord prevented Rayford from carrying out his plan and one of the others committed the act.

Summary: Assassins
Review: I feel that Assassins was a very good book. It speaks the truth about the Tribulation. Even people who aren't Christians that I know liked this book alot & are thinking of converting. I think Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins are very good authors & that when they work together their books are wonderful. I can't wait 'till The Indwelling comes out in May! See Ya! ;-)

Summary: Another masterpiece to the ongoing series!
Review: They did it again! The authors of the Left Behind Series have dazzled me with the latest addition to the series. The book Assassins is an exciting piece of work with down points nowhere to be found in the novel. The action and suspense in the previous books do not compare to the plot of this story. I have grown to love the characters and feel as though I am a part of their lives. The authors escalated to a new level by opening the inside of each character and showing the temptations that each one deals with. It showed a more realistic lifetstyle such as the ones that people, as well as Christians walk everyday. That made a huge impact on me. I recommend this book to everyone, not just fellow believers. I truly think it is an eye opener.

Summary: Showed me the light
Review: I have read all six books from Left Behind. I must say it made me question myself. I always thought I had a strong faith in the lord and when I read about some of the characters that got left behind an I said that person is just like me. I got very afaird and found a renewed faith in the Lord. I was up all night reading those books because I got the first three when I started to read them. I finished all three in about two days. I just couldn't put it down. I think everybody should read this book. It will change your life because everything in it, is going to happen.

Summary: Incomplete, choppy, rushed
Review: The Assassins is not up to the standards set in the first two books. As the series progresses it appears that the focus is on getting the book to market instead of developing the plot and expanding on the prophecies of Revelation. If the schedule of two books per year is met, I doubt if I will buy any of the following books. The Assassins is chopped up to try and keep three story lines moving, there is repetition, and inconsistencies, not a good effort. It was a struggle to finish the book.

Summary: Is this what the last days on earth will be like?
Review: If you liked the "Left Behind" series of books by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins, you better read "Transfer: The end of the beginning" by Jerry Furland. Both the "Left Behind" books and "Transfer" are fictional accounts of what the world's last times might hold for everybody. Both have intrigue, murder, personal relationships, etc., all the good stuff. "Transfer" depicts events that are currently, or will soon be, technologically possible.

Summary: ASSASSINS ALMOST HIT THE MARK!
Review: Assassins could have been better if the writers had a few loss ends tied up. But I still like the way the story is going and that's way I gave it four stars. The story keeps me buying, but I wish they would hurry!

Anyone interested in a great spiritual thriller, I would highly recommend a novel called, THE FIST OF GOD by A.T. Nicholas. It is phenomenal! It's a story about God and Satan going head to head for souls during a presidential campaign. Great read!

Summary: Keep it Up!
Review: I have purchased the whole series so far, and have not concluded the last book yet, but I still love it! I can feel why dad wants to kill Carpathia! If I were him, I'm sure I would want to as well. I loathe Carpathia!

My mother is a "brand new Christian" as of four months ago, and I've passed my books onto her. While discussing this series of books, she had just finished Book 1 and said, "I don't want to go to hell. I'm going to heaven! " I felt the thrust of the Book had served its purpose. It's convicting souls for the Kingdom of God, causing people to truly question where they will go.

Although some find fault, I tend to look at the good: "Eternal weight." God Bless and keep up the good work!
