Summary: All Ages
Review: I may not be 8 - 12, but I certainly felt like a kid in a candy store while reading this book. My 13 year old daughter and I had a blast trying to get the other to put it down so we could discover all the secrets to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before the other. It is a wonderful adventure to share with any age child or just to enjoy for yourself.

Summary: Come on! It's Harry Potter!!!
Review: I mean, after all, what's not to love! I usually shy away from reading "what everyone's reading", but am I glad I made an exception to pick up the first HP book--and have not stoped reading and rereading them yet! Well written for adults and older shildren alike (I fight with my 11 and 13 year olds for reading rights) its great reading, period!

Summary: Fun, easy book to read
Review: I must admit I am 28 years old and I love these books (first one too). You can breeze through them if you want, but it is better to go through it slowly, you'll enjoy it more. The author has a very colorful imagination. I can't wait until I read the next one..

Summary: To lovers of fantasy
Review: I must admit that I rather liked this book. Rowling has an easy-going style that stands out. The books are inventive and entertaining. This one is actually my favorite of the three, possibly because it was the first one I read (and admittedly, possible because of the slightly -- emphasis on SLIGHTLY -- macabre ending.

And a note for other readers: I have heard many fans of the fantasy genre express frustration with the series, simply because it is not the best example of fantasy on the market. To those (and to anyone else who loves the books): I agree that Rowling has not yet matched Tolkien or Lewis. But think of these books not as a literary dead end -- consider it as an introduction to greater and more complex works. That, in the end, is the greatest value of the Potter series.

Summary: EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS BOOK!
Review: I must say Ms Rowling's second effort is even better than her first. I have not read anything so engrossing since Roald Dahl. The characters are so real that I found myself rooting for Harry and his friends, and disliking the Dursleys wholeheartedly!

Summary: The best book ever!!!
Review: I never really liked to read until I read the second book from the Harry Potter series in third grade. I read it in one day and it made me feel like I had a home at Hogwarts and a place on the Quidditch team. I met Hermione and Ron, Malfoy and Professor Snape. It opened me up to a world no other book could have. I could have never thought it up myself. But the movie made Hogwarts a lot less...well uglier than I ever imagined. Everything was dull and the sun always was shining. I interpreted (rather imagined) from the book that the castle was a glowing place on a big hill with a moat and everything. The sky was scarlet and you felt welcomed there. The Quidditch field, the lake. They were all there and the mountains surrounding Hogwarts. But Harry also found that he belonged there too. He got closer with his friends though danger was always near in this book. He proved to the whole school once more that Lord Voldemort (the bad guy) couldn't destroy the side of good. It's a wonderful novel and I think it is the best of all four.

Summary: More Potter!
Review: I never thought that J.K Rowling could do any better then the first Harry Potter but she has. This is one of the greatest books ever. This book has even more adventue and drama then the first one, it makes you want to drop on your knees and beg for more Thankfully there is more. There are still little connections and hidden things in an adventure even more adventurous then the last adventure. The Climax is still at the end, but it is leading up to it from the very begining, when Dobby comes to see Harry Potter. This is avery well written book with a fantastic plot and storyline. Another fantastic book.
