Review: I am a 11 year old girl. I read the first book of Harry Potter, and loved it. When I heard that a second book came out in the UK, I made my mom buy it. I do not think that the second book is as good as the first book, but it is still great. It tells what happens the next year Harry goes to Hogwarts. If you liked the first book, you will love this one.

Review: I am a 11 year-old that has been enthralled with the Harry Potter books ever since i recived the first one in Christmas of 98. I got the next two from my grandmother, who lives in the same city as the author. These books have the biggest twists and turns of any titles I have ever read. There is a little bit of magic for everyone in Harry's adventures, something that few authors have ever acomplished in they're whole careers, much less they're first three tries!! All I can say is that Mrs. Rowling very much deserves to be Hogwarts's Headmaster after Dumbledore retires, cause THESE BOOKS ROCK!!!!!!

Summary: Slow but Worth it
Review: I am a 12 year old kid who doesn't read that much at all. But when I read the first one, I just had to read the next. So I did and I found the 1st hundred pages good. The next hundred pages boring, but the last hundred pages the bomb. Man, those last pages were so good. It makes everythung else just worth it.

Summary: The Must Read Book of the Century
Review: I am a 16 yr old male and dont read "kids" books. I usually read James Patterson or John Saul. But when Rosie O'Donnel praised and recommended this book I decided to take a trip to the library. I checked out the first one and this one and started reading them and finished both in one night. It is impossible to put these books down. I am very happy that J.K. Rowling has decided to make this a 7 part series.

Review: I am a 21 year old college student and I thought the book was great. If it can get your child to read, read it with them. Make your own choice about it. Don't just get your ideas from the screaming conservatives.As far as the witch talk, I'd like to remind everyone of a few titles that are classics: The Wizard of Oz, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, (and that whole series), Matilda, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel (and almost any fairy tale), Hamlet, Dracula, Frankenstien, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and many more. Should we burn these books too? Just read the book! Tell your child that it is fiction. How hard is that?

Review: I am a 25 year old college graduate studying to become a teacher. I just had to read a Harry Potter book to see what all the students that I taught were raving about. I now know why they love these books. They are great! I can't wait to read more. I just finished the first book in the series and I intend to read the rest in the series. I hope that more children and adults read these books. It fosters imagination through visualization and fosters creativity in children by their curiousities into Harry's adventures and brings out the child in all of us adults. I do not see what all the bad publicity is about these books. This is a book that is based primarily on fantasy I can think of many other books in print today that should be taken out of print due to their content. I find nothing wrong with the content of Ms. Rowling's books. I hope to be able to use these books in my classroom. We need more books like this that children enjoy to read and want to read. Otherwise, we will lose our children to video games and television, hence losing the imagination in our children's lives.

Review: I am a 8 year old girl and was indroduced to the Harry Potter books by my awesome second grade teacher. I have read both Harry books and can't wait to read the third. I especially liked all the dangerous adventures and mystery.

Summary: One really cool book
Review: I am a big fan of fantasy books, and this series is one of my favorites. I think that second book, the Chamber of Secrets, was better than the first one. It had a little more excitement, a little more conflict, and goes to prove, once more, that good is always stronger than evil. It kind of makes me sad that some individuals are so strongly set in the belief that fantasy, or make-believe, is misleading and just plain wrong. These people are missing out on so much and I feel sorry for them. I can understand that some parents would be reluctant to let their children read a novel with a protagonist that stops at nothing to destroy his opponent, and vise-versa, but Harry is the exact opposite. He, along with his friends, learn the true meaning of friendship, trust, loyalty, self-reliance, compassion, and persistance through their many zany efforts in trying to solve the mystery in each book. These are qualities that our world's youth need to learn today, myself included. What do you think? Oh, by the way, the only complaint that I have about this book is that it was too short!

Review: I am a big Harry Potter fan and I must say this was the best out of the three. J.K. Rowling has done it again. She explained everything with expert detail. I think that anybody who even at least remotely likes fantasy should read this.
