Rating: Summary: A Magical Blast for All Ages! Review: I absolutely loved the first book in the Harry Potter phenomenon, and I sure was not going to stop there! The Chamber of Secrets is an awesome book and I enjoyed it thouroughly! In this book, Harry goes back for his second year at the Hogwarts school and it is a blast! Now that we know the cahracters, we can really begin this story! In this one, Harry is drawn to a special room in the school where he finds a 'special mirror,' there is a mystery among the school, and there is a secret chamber that is discovered! This is a wonderful and non-stop enjoyable masterpiece that I love! This is definately NOT just for kids! This sequel never lets up with the interesting characters, story line, and awesome magic! Not one to miss! Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: I loved this book!! Review: I absolutely loved this book because it was adventurous and exciting! It kept you wanting to know what happens next. I read this book in our classroom at the end of the year! My teacher Beth, was great at acting out the sounds and hand movements for the book.
Rating: Summary: This book is one of the most suspenseful book ever. Review: I absolutly love this book. My mom reads it to me and my brother and I always find myself reading ahead. When this becomes a movie I'll see it 9000 times. This is T.M. Riddle sighing off.
Rating: Summary: FUN Read, but only that. Review: I admit, the Harry Potter books are a fun read, but I found that they got boring halfway into this book. It lacked depth! The formula plot is as always: amazing boy escapes evil, tries to figure out evil, evil isn't what he thinks it is, always finds a way to beat it. You could always tell what was going to happen. There was something definetly lacking. There's many better fantasy books and authors out there, among them DAVID EDDINGS, C.S. LEWIS, BRIAN JACQUES, TERRY BROOKS. DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN THE HYPE!
Rating: Summary: Even more exciting than the first! Review: I adored Harry Potter and the Soreceror's Stone, and suprisingly, I liked the second one even more! It was much more exciting and the plot was more complicated. It is brilliant how J.K. Rowling tied the story together at the end. I kept on switching back and forth on my guesses of who was the attacker. I could't close the book for one minute!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I adored this book from the moment I saw it.I love the way hermoine always sticks her nose in and gets into trouble by mistake.the sequel is just as good.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Review: I adored this book! Although it is rated for ages 9-12, I am an adult and found this book one of the most refreshing I have read in quiet awhile. It's innocence brings back memories of the books I read on those long days of summer vacation, while swinging on a porch swing, and being transported to a completely different, magical place by my book of the day. I would recommend this to anyone, especially people with children, as you can both thoroughly enjoy the magic of Hogwarts! Once I read this book, I promptly went out and bought the whole series, and am anxiously awaiting the next one! My advice is, READ IT!
Rating: Summary: If you want adventure, here's what you need. Review: I am 10 years old and I think this book is - fantabulous , spectacular , an adventure in your own home! If you want adventure, HERE IT IS!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter IS for all ages!!! Review: I am 14 and love these books. What is the most interesting is how the complex plots unfold from book to book. This is definitely a two-thumbs-up book.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter appealing not only to children Review: I am 15 years old. I enjoyed this series of books very much, finishing all 4 in 1 week, with school. I am very excited for the next book also. This book is not only appealing to young children, but teenagers too. I have several friends that have also read these books and enjoyed them. I just wanted people buying this book to know that.
