Summary: A great book
Review: Harry Potter is all set to start his second year of hogwartswhen he gets a warning not to go back. From there Harry will go onmany adventures. The Harry Potter serseis has been on the best seller list for along time. While many people would say it is a childrens book it is attrative to all ages. The cariters are all likable and the book all have deep plots. Plus J.K. Rowling uses good words in witch to tell this great story.

All these facts equal=I would recommend to all.

Summary: HARRY POTTER A WINNER
Review: Harry Potter is an extraordinary book, not only for children but also adults. I recently shared the novel with my eighteen year old nephew and it had a magical effect on him. He began discussing the book with such enthusiam that I read it myself and concurred. Again, the word "magical" applies. Rawlings is a sorcerer herself of the highest calling. She conjures up goodwill and understanding. Another children's book that works in this extraordinary way, casting its spell over adults as well as kids, is Kim Doner's BUFFALO DREAMS. It has the same wonderful quality of transcending our everyday confusion and reminding us of what really is important.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Review: Harry Potter is back again! After nearly dyeing in J.K Rowlings first Harry Potter book, the sorcerers stone, he is eager to come back to Hogwarts school of wizardry and witchcraft, to see his friends, and to get away from the Dursleys . Harry Potter is a spunky 12 year old wizard who is famous among other wizards because when he was a baby, he barely survived Voldemort/he-who-must-not-be-named. His mother died, he was very fortunate to escape with only a scar shaped like a lightning bolt on his forehead. (This scar is what makes him so distinct and special). In the first book of the Harry Potter series, Harry survived Voldemort/he-who-must-not-be-named again, so now Voldemort will do anything to get him back in this sequel. By going back to Hogwarts for his second year, he is taking a high risk. If you liked the first on, you will love this one! I would recomend Harry Potter for all ages who have a wild spirited imagination. There is nothing not to love about this famous twelve year old wizard. When I read Harry Potter, I felt like I was actually there helping him save Hogwarts from the evil Voldemort. I don't know how Rowling does it, but however she does, she does a good job of it! You will see what I mean after you read this fabulous book about an average ordinary adventure-loving wizard. I can't wait till I read the 3rd book!

Summary: Who's to blame the attacks on?
Review: Harry potter is back in the second book in the Harry Potter series. The students at Hogwarts are being attacked by some one or something evil from inside the chamber of secrets, and every one thinks Harry's the one to blame. Messages appear on the walls, threatning the muggle-born students. When who ever or whatever has been attacking the students attacks one of Harry's freinds, Harry goes in search of the chamber of secrets.

Just like the rest of the Harry Potter books, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was very funny, exiting and entertaining. I would definetly reccomend it to any one!

Summary: Book 2: A Muggle's Perspective
Review: Harry Potter is back! I read "The Sorcerer's Stone" more than a year ago, and after reading "The Chamber of Secrets" I am not sure why it took me so long to read this sequel. I enjoy the wonderful world of Hogwarts so much more than I enjoy the actual story of Harry's perpetual battle with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. I loved jumping into the world of flying cars, Quidditch matches, and photographs that move. I also love the beggining of this book, which describes Harry's wretched Muggle Family--Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and horrible cousin Dudley Dursley.

Because I enjoy the atmosphere of these books more than the action, I was not pinning all of my hopes on a climactic showdown between Harry and Voldemort at the Chamber of Secrets. If I had been, I have to imagine that I would have been a little disappointed. It did not seem as though Voldemort was as cleverly disguised as he was in Book 1, or that the author did as much to build the reader up to an exciting conclusion. I saw the ending coming from miles away. However, I can't criticize the book too much for this flaw. It was written for children, and I am 27!

All in all, a creative, thoroughly enjoyable journey back to Hogwarts. All your favorite characters from "The Sorcerer's Stone" are back, including the Dursleys, the Weasleys, Hagrid, and Professor Dumbledore. Also back are the characters you love to hate, notably Draco Malfoy and Professor Snape. However, there are also a host of exciting new characters: Professor Lockhart, Ginny Weasley, and many others. I urge you to immerse yourself into the secret world of Hogwart's for Round 2 of Harry's amazing adventure.

Summary: SUPERB! HARRY POTTER IS A PHENOMENON!
Review: Harry Potter is defenetely one of the best works of fiction the 90s has produced! Chamber of Secrets is right up there with the Redwall books, by Brian Jacques. I would wholeheartedly reccomend it to anyone-adults and kids alike!
