Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Review: Well here I go again. I wrote a review of Book I (2/9/00) andhere I am writing a review for II. I am over age 50 and I love thesebooks. Their outward simplicity should not dismiss that GOOD, when ithas to struggle, and take chances, wins out over EVIL, because genuinegood is based on a true heart and in the case of Harry Potter, is also based on faith and boundless friendship.Granted the stories are aimed at younger people (I think) but the lessons are inspiring and not unlike Tolkien or King Arthur. I agree these books are hard to put down. I strongly suggest that one begins with Book I and reads them in order because each book is a chronological experience of Wizard's school in Harry's life. Beginning with the first book, the reader develops a better understanding of the characters. Finally these would be great stories for a parent or grandparent to read to youngsters. Looking back on my past, this may well provide many rich and wonderful memories for children...Good luck, Harry, I am off to Book III. END

Rating: Summary: I Loved this Book I couldn't put it down literally! Review: Well i would like to say that my name is Nabil. I loved this book. And when I say I couldn't put it down I mean it. First I finished Book I THE SORCER'S STONE AT 2:00 AM THEN I STARTED CHAMBER OF SECRETS AT 2:30. I read 72 pages went to bed at 3:30 AM. Then during the day read another 32 pages. Then at around 11:00 PM. I read and read and read and read and... well you get the idea. In the end I stayed up all night. I read 239 pages so in short in 28 hours I had completed the entire book. My only regret is that I do not yet have the third book and fourth. I f I did I would probably be reading it now. This books puts the fun back in reading for me. My mom went to Crown books and said "Hey bill (bill is my nickname) how about if i buy you some harry potter" I thought What? Harry Potter am i a baby but boy was i wrong. This series is for all ages and i am really glad that I bought these books. I also love the idea of the game of Quittich (sorry about the spelling i think) anyway i love it. The chapters about quittich are one of my favorites. Also Draco Malfoy v.s. Potter rocks! Signed Nabil aka bill aka Harry Potter Junky.

Rating: Summary: Harry's back and in full force. Review: Well my Harry Potter fans, you may be sitting at your local bookstore wondering is you should buy this adventure....YES! It was wonderful. This time H-Dawg is out to find out who is turning people into stone. I mean total stonage! Harry has to go totally and completely into "police guy" mode and find out who is doing the evil deeds. This novel had everything a good novel (and a instant classic) should have. Great Characters, good plot, good bad guys and a fangtastic ending. Now be a good Muggle and go out and get this book. *S*
Rating: Summary: Just as good as the first Review: Well the day after finishing the first in the series I raced out to get book 2. Surely it couldn;t be as captivating? Well Iwas wrong. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was a superb sequel. Like the first I found I was unable to put the book down and stayed up far too late at night reading. The adventures of Harry and all of his friends and foes at Hogwarts are not to be missed.
Rating: Summary: J.K Rowling has done It again ! Review: Well well well... what is there to say about J. K Rowling ? Only thats she has managed to capture the minds and imaginations of young children around the world yet again with the second book in the series of Harry Potter books. Its seems like magic how J.K. Rowling has managed to capivate the childs imagination with such a interesting plot and new twists and turns at the turn of every page of a Harry potter book combined with a few quick witted and fascinating characters. Although i may be old, both me and my sister (especially me) have learned to never put down a Hary Potter book once qwe start reading. The way in which the characters are portrayed adn the the suspense and Drama taht unfolds at the turn of each page is simply remarkable. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets immediaely transports us to Harry Potter's world where he is once again met by all the old characters, His aunt, uncle and dudley his cousin who are determined to give him a hard tiem once again. Hagrid the goal keeper of Hogwarts and of course Mr Albus Dumbeldore the principal of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Also added are a few new faces Moaning Mrytle who haunts the girls bathroom and the new teacher. Well this book seems to have a boost of zest and suspense added to it making it even more interesting to read and more harder to put down.
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: Well, I've read the first and now the second smacks me in the face. It's a good smack though. See, the first, I think, was the absolute best of the two (just about three) I've read. But still, a wonderful sequal to the ever-enchanting Harry Potter series. Keep this book in mind, you won't regret it. Filled with twists, turns, mystery, and humor, these books keep you on the edge of your seat.
Rating: Summary: Harry & Ron in Trouble Again... Review: Well, the first time my best friend told me about Harry Potter, I hesitated in buying the books!!! The first book was great, that now I have all the series at home. The Chamber of Secrets, has been so different from the first book, it builds more the excitment of the magical life over there...and it lets your immagination fly all over the place... Malfoy tries more and more to put Harry in his place, but with no luck, and he starts seeing the superiority that Harry carries, if he does not not confess it until now... The Chamber of secrets and the encounter that finally happens in it, solves another mystery that the school was waiting for, for more than 50 years... Rating: Summary: Alyssa Young Bak Middle School of th Arts Review: WENGARDIUM LEVIOSA! If you're not familiar with the Harry Potter books, then not only does this spell mean nothing to you, but you are also missing out on suspense, adventure, mind-boggling spells, hidden secrets, laughs, and most of all, the famous mystery - who opened the Chamber of Secrets? Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets not only keeps your interest, but it's very well written and descriptive. I cannot begin to convey how phenomenally J.K Rowling creates such intricate characters that you can so easily relate to. Starting off his boring and dreadful school year, Harry is bossed around and locked up when a hideous house-elf "Dobby" shows up in his not-so-spacious room. His best friend Ron soon rescues him; which starts his remarkable adventure at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. "You don't have to be a wizard or a kid to appreciate the spell cast by Harry Potter."-USA Today. This book isn't recommended for any age, but all ages. No matter how old, or how young, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets will expand your imagination to so many new horizons and keep you flipping pages until you're done. This book was so incredibly popular that it sold millions of copies and was made into a million dollar movie that was just as impressive. Although some parts were dull, the other stimulating parts definitely made up for it. This novel is a wonderful must-read!
