Review: This book is tightly plotted and hard to put down. I'm surprised more readers and amazon.com don't mention WITCH WEEK and THE LIVES OF CHRISTOPHER CHANT (by D.W.Jones) as similar good reads. WITCH WEEK is also about magic this time suppressed in an English boarding school.

Review: This book is too great to be true! It's like it came down from heaven, because it's like you're not even reading. Rowling describes so good that it's like each page is a picture in front of you. You even get goose bumps on your legs from all the details from the action. 5 year olds should get Hooked on Phonics and learn how to read as soon as possible so they can read the Harry Potter books! If you don't like reading, this is the book to get you to love reading! If it's true that there are more Harry Potter books coming out, I'm going to be the first on the list to get them all.
