Summary: The best book ever! Harry Potter is at his best!!!
Review: I've read this book half a dozen times, and I never get bored with it. It's sensational. I loved the arrival of Gilderoy Lockhart, he was so stupid it was funny. The storyline was very cool as well, I liked the plot, and the way the suspense built up, it was really cool. I was guessing wildly the whole book through who the Heir of Slytherin could possibly be. Rowling is doing a great job of developing her characters; I can't wait until the next books come out!

Review: I've this book so much that I think I will explode if I can't get a copy of the second Harry Potter book soon! I'm excited about the possibility of there being a third book too! I find myself re-reading this book over and over agin. I even brought it to my third grade class for sharing. I like that the book has the image of a real school but has the touch of magic, too!

Summary: carefully read
Review: I, and my 6 and 7 year old loved Harry and his friends, both times that we read it. Please be aware that the beginning of the the story may be a bit upsetting to a young reader/listener due to Harry's living conditions and mistreatment. Yes, it all works out wonderfully in the end, but a young child will need some explaination about Harry's various situations, and even that this is a fictional story. Both of my children loved this book, and begged to have part of a chapter read to them every night. We had wonderful discussions about Harry, the Dursleys, Hogwarts, the death of Harry's parents, love, teasing, meanness, friendship, and magic. We are excited about starting book two, and hope that there will be more, if the quality continues and it does not become disneyfied. We hope it does not become a movie, because it could never live up to the magic of one's imagination!! ps...I am a mental health therapist who works with children.....do not overlook your child's thoughts and questions that may come from reading this book! It is a great way to open a dialog with your child on many important topics.

Review: If I wrote all the good things about this book, it woul cover the whole page easily. I can't believe how good this Harry Potter book turned out. This book is Harry's second year at his wizard's school. Here in this book, he goes through several adventures before the main one at the end, where he has to go save his friend's sister.Other than that, he does a few stupid things, and almost gets expelled around five times. Jk Rowling probably got the series popular by writing this book. If you haven't read this book yet, then you don't know what your missing. I advise you to read this book( if you haven't) as soon as posible.
