Summary: I don't believe that anyone could call this book stupid!
Review: I was not going to write a review, because frankly I thought I would add nothing to all the wonderful reviews JKR got. But to my amazement someone or something thought the book was stupid? How on earth? could someone call this masterpiece stupid?

JKR has such a vivid imagination and such a gripping narrative style, that I have to admit I spent the last 36 hours revloving around her first two books, at times I was tired but couldn't put the books down.

I am 28 years old and found this book thrilling to say the least.

The person who wrote the shameful review is, well, possibly troubled by magic; maybe she had vodoo practiced on her as a child or maybe she is on of Dursley's kin. A first rate Muggle.

I am looking forward to the Motion Picture.

Summary: A wonderful surprise!
Review: I was reading my kid brother a bedtime story when he suggested that we should try the Harry Potter books next. I was doubtful, having never heard of them before, but when he left one lying on the kitchen table I had a look, and the next thing I knew, I was halfway through the book! I couldn't put it down. Harry's unusual adventures caught my imagination. Plenty of twists and laughs, as well as suspense and tension. And the characters are great! Since then, I've heard a lot about the series, all wonderful, and many comments on how much the parents seem to like them too...

Summary: I love this book
Review: I was reading some of the reviews when I noticed one that said that, people over ten that read this book should be ashamed. You need to learn that just because a book is meant for a younger audience doesn't mean that no one else will enjoy it. I happen to be 14 and I love this book. I enjoy the fantasy, that Rowling so carefully weaves into our imagination. I like the idea of a school like Hogwarts, especially compared to the school that I attend now. I do like the Redwall books and Tolkiien's books are right up there but that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the Harry Potter books. I honestly think that the Harry Potter books are good for any age, and no one should be ashamed of reading these great books. I think this book deserves a 5 star but I put a one star to get your attention, since no one including me reads the 5 stars.

Summary: BUY AND READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!
Review: I was really surprised when I saw that the age recommendation for all of the HArry Potter books is 9-12. I first saw thses books on Rosie O'Donnel and she loved them. I am assuming she is over 12. And so am and I and all of my friends. I recommended it to almost everyone I talk to. You MUST READ THIS BOOK!

Summary: Imaginative, Creative Twist on Children's Literature
Review: I was the last person in my family to read the first Harry Potter and by then this one was already out. I read the whole thing in one sitting. This book is fantastic. It has interesting, imaginative characters, both wizards and animals. The plot twists are improbable, yet when you look back on the whole book, you realize you might have guessed them. Hermione, Harry and Ron have some wonderful conversations and there are some nice Quidditch matches (Quidditch is a broomstick game sort of like basketball)

Summary: Harry Potter strikes again!
Review: I was thrilled by Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I felt the story was more complex, with lots of other conflicts. "You know who" comes back as always, and Harry, Ron, and Hermione are in for a BIG suprise.

Summary: Another hit form the U.K.
Review: I was totally blown away by this addition of the Harry Potter novels. I still hope there are going to be 70, not seven! The plot was thrilling, and the characters all well devloped. I fell in love with little Ginny Weasley at first glance. I know every one of any age will love these books. A definate must read.

Summary: get on your broom for a wild ride
Review: I was unsure if I would like this book being that it was aimed toward children. I was so wrong. I couldn't read fast enough. I was totally enthralled from the very beginning. It had action, suspense and it took you on a totally wild adventure out of the mundane. I loved the trials and tribulations Harry Potter had to go through. From living with a family who despised him to learning that he was a powerful wizard. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys fiction, even if you are an adult!

Summary: Just READ it!!!
Review: I was very late to the Harry Potter rush. When I had initially heard about the "little kids books" involving Harry Potter, I thought Potter was the author. Only once the movie came out did I start reading the books. I literally couldn't put them down. I read all 4 books in about 3 weeks total. I'm now reading them aloud to my 4 1/2 year old, who of couse doesn't get it all, but loves them anyway.

Trust me, these books are absolutely fantastic! As long as you're between the ages of 4 and 114, you will love them!

Summary: Less than intrigued
Review: I was very pleased with the creative ideas the
author used to support the development of her story
line, as she did in the first book. This book had
good continuity with the first book. I felt that this
book lacked the creative imagination that the Sorcerer's
Stone displayed, and had difficulty completing the book.
