Rating: Summary: harry potter and the sorcerers stone Review: Harry Potter And the Sorcerers Stone J.K Rowling Fantasy This book is a about a boy named Harry Potter and he hes parnets were killed by Vandermolt. And he goes lives with he cruel aunt. Then he gets letterst ot go to hogwatrs where he attends school and has lots of grand adventures. This book is in a class all of its own cause i have never read a book anything like this. The only book that may be even close to this would be the hobbit and that is prolbally it. I really liked this book cause it went into a lot of depth to describe what i was reading and it was fun to read becuase it kept making me want to read more and more and more untill i would finally fall a sleep reading or untill my mom came up and took the book away from me. My quote is from page 97, "Oh, Mom, can i go on the train and see him, Mom, oh please." this shows that Harry Potter is a well known person to all the wizards and that even though he was miss treated by his aunt and uncle that there is still a lot of people that really would like to meet and would give him the respect he wanted and needed. A good part about this book is that once you start reading it you cant stop becuase you keep getting things thrown at you that you want to find out and when you find them out something else comes that is a shocker so you have to keep reading to find out what happens. A bad part about it is that sometimes the will drag a part in the book a little to long.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Review: Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone Imagine a world of wizardry and magic. That's where Harry Potter lives in the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. The author is J.K Rowling. In the story a lot of suspense built up to the climax. Bad things were happening at Harry's school but no one was quite sure why. Evil trolls were let into the school and everyone knew something was up. The reader is never quite sure who is doing all these horrible things. The author is always confusing the reader by making it seem like somebody else did all those bad things. Somebody was also causing trouble during a quidditch match. Quidditch was a game that they played at the school. Some one was planning on killing Harry Potter. Nobody knew who was doing it and nobody knew anything was going to happen. Only two people knew about, the person that was doing it, and a teacher that was going to stop it. Luckily for Harry, nothing happened to him. He still had no clue who was doing all the bad things at the school and neither does the reader. I think people that like fantasy and science fiction would enjoy this book. The book was mainly about magical and amazing things. I really enjoyed this book and I know lots of other people will too. So as you can see this was a very great book and there was lots of suspense built in the book. I think that many people will like Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone.

Rating: Summary: My thoughts on an interesting novel Review: Harry Potter and The Sorcerers's stone is about a young boy named Harry Potter. Harry grew up with his dead mother's sister Petunia and her husband Vernon. They have a son named Dudley who is out to make Harry's life torture. When Harry turns of age Professor Dumbledore, a the head master at Hogwarts Shool for Wzards, sends his closest and most reliable freind Hagrid after Harry. Harry begins school at Hogwarts and is off to a rough start. Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione start to catch on to the suspicious actions of Professor Snape and Professor Quirrell. Come to find out Hogwarts is hiding the sorcerer's stone. It is a stone with lots of powers that can be used for evi l if put in the wrong hands. Harry has many reasons to believe that Snape is after the stone. While following Snape Harry, Ron, and Hermione find out Professor Quirrell is to blame and not Snape. They successfully keep the sorcerer's stone out of Professor Quirrell's hands. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was a good book to me because of all the excitement. Harry, Ron, and Hermione go on many adventures of their own wich sometimes leads them into trouble. Harry is easy to relate to because he struggles just like the rest of us to make good grades and try to fit in with all the other wizards. I would deffinately reccamend this book to anybody that wants adventure and a great story.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter And The Sorcerer`s Stone Book Review Review: Harry Potter And The Sorcerers` Stone Book Review The book Harry Potter and the Sorcerers` Stone is my favorite book. It is written by J.K. Rowling. You`ll love this imaginative book! Its` about a boy named Harry Potter who is going to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry and meets two friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Harry`s real parents were killed by a mean wizard named Voldemort. Harry was just a baby when Voldemort tried to kill him too! But somehow Voldemort`s power broke and all Harry had from him was a scar shaped like a lightning bolt. That proved that Harry was a wizard. For the next 10 years, Harry lived with his aunt and uncle who were extremely dreadful to Harry. But... their son Dudley was even worse! He`d whine most of the time but...that wasn't why Harry`s aunt and uncle gave Dudley whatever he wanted. And why should I keep telling you this story? Read Harry Potter and the Sorcerers` Stone where you'll find wonderful, exciting, imaginative, adventures in every chapter! By Caitlin

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling Review: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer¡¦s Stone introduces the reader to Harry and the magical world at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry thought himself as a normal boy before he was eleven because he thought his parents both died in a car crash and left him nothing. He has been living with the Dursleys , his miserable aunt, uncle and cousin. They treat him like Cinderella and Harry spent most of his life under the cupboard under the stairs. However things start to change, when Harry receives a letter on his eleventh birthday from Hogwarts inviting him to join the school. Suddenly Harry finds himself in a whole new world when he discovers that Hogwarts is a school for wizards and that he is a boy wizard. He makes new friends Ron and Hermione, meets Hargid the giant and discovers that Voldermort the evil wizard who killed his parents is his enemy. It¡¦s a very interesting book. Once you get started you don¡¦t want to stop. It takes you to an imaginary world that is full of amazing people and things ¡V owls delivering mails, teenagers playing sports on broomsticks, hidden platform at railway stations. All these things are hidden from ¡§Muggles¡¨ like you and me. This is the most attracting thing about this book. I haven¡¦t read a novel for fun for a long time. Even though my English is not good enough to understand every single word I could still know what it is talking about and enjoy the book.
