Summary: A thriller disguised as a fairy tale
Review: Had I stopped to read the book one chapter to the end, I would have probably given 3 stars; but the book is not what it seems to be, it is a thriller disguised as a fairy tale. One of the few books that managed to surprise me. Although I think children will enjoy reading it, grownups will appreciate it more.

Summary: Harry Potter is for Adults Too!
Review: Had just finished Atlantis Found and RipTide and was looking for something else to read. My sister loaned me all Harry Potter books.

At first, I was a bit skeptical considering that they were suppose to be for kids (I'm 37). Finally I picked up Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and I was hooked after the first chapter.

Just finished reading The Prisoner of Azkaban the other night and now can't wait for the next Harry Potter book.

These books are really fun. The characters and story line keep you turning the pages until the end. When you reach the end, you automatically want to reach for the next book so you can continue the story.

J. K. Rowling did a fantastic job with the characters and story. Hogwarts is such a wonderful place and I can see why Harry loves going back so much.

These books may be for kids but also great for adults.

Summary: A true insperation! It Rocks!
Review: Hagrid, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, all dazzlin' characters that are unique and beautiful in their own way. Harry is not the kind of person that you would find appealing, but he is brilliant! From the name to his powers it's all no.1! I couldn't put this book down! It is true inspiration, with curiously tingling words that tickle your imagination! Just fabulous!

Summary: This is a great fantasy book for all ages.
Review: Harrry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone is a wonderful book for any age. I am a 20 year old college student and my education teacher told me about Harry Potter. This book was so hard to put down, with its twists and turn in the plot. Also the characters are believeable in their relationships. I read this book in about 3 days, and I brought it everywhere I went. Harry shows that just because you are an outcast you can still succeed. His brave way of taking chances keeps you glued to the book wondering what will happen next. Right now my 14 year old sister is reading the book and she too can't put it down.

Summary: simply magical!
Review: Harrry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a wonderful book for children and adults alike! I see no reason at all to ban these books from shelves. You can identify with the characters in many ways. The situations are very real. It deals with real problems such as school and friendships, courage and knowing who you are. To ban these books is denying our children, our future, a wonderful work of litearature. A great start to Ms. Rowling's writing career! My suggestion: kids, read these books to your parents!

Summary: I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN
Review: Harry doesn't know of any other life other than his own horrible one in the dusty old cupboard under the staircase. He lives with his dreadful aunt and uncle and their horrid son they call 'sweetums' who despises Harry. Harry doesn't realize that all the people in the magical world know his name and would do anything to meet him. Then, Harry gets a series of mysterious letters addressed to him by owl messenger. However, his aunt and uncle won't let him read the letters at any cost! Since Harry has grown up in an unmagical family, he doesn't know anything about making potions, casting spells or flying on a broomstick. As it turns out, Harry is going to the finest witchcraft and wizardry school, Hogwarts. J.K. Rowling is an excellent author. She writes with awesome details, and is great at helping you paint the picture in your head! As there is magic behind every corner and dangers lying ahead I felt like I was standing right next to him at his every move. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a really good book and I highly recommend it!

Summary: It's The Sorcerer's Stone
Review: Harry felt something in his pocket, but what was it? It was the Sorcerer?s Stone in his own pocket. Professor Quirrell teaches Dark Arts and also has Voldmort on the back of his head. Voldmort is very mean and tried to kill Harry Potter. That?s why he has a scar on top of his head. Quirrel was there because he was trying to get it, too. You should read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer?s Stone if you never have!

Summary: Harry vs. Lord Volredmont
Review: Harry finds out he is a witch and is sent off to Hogwarts. He is famous there, because his parents were murdered and he was the only one to survive Lord Voldemort. Now he and his freinds, Hermione and Ron, must get to the Sorcerer's Stone before Lord Voldemort does. It's great, you just have to read it!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Harry Potter, a wizard, meets many problems and many friends
Review: Harry goes through main gates and a weird train gates while meeting Herimone and Ron. Teacher gives him trouble too. Quiddish matches make him better known than the scar on his head. Harry and the students make words about his trouble with you-know-who and that is what makes it so suspenseful. The best age to read this book is 8-11 in my opinion. Also I would give it 5 stars because I adore it. You will have to read this book to find out what happens with Harry and you-know-who!
