Review: [This book] is about a boy (Harry) that lives with his aunt and uncle because is mother and father dies. They do not even treat Harry like he is a human. Anyway, my favorite character is Harry because everything bad always happens to him. I also like Harry because he is the man character of the story... pick up a copy of Harry potter and the Sorceress Stone.

Review: ___Three stars that I gave are an average - one star for the first half of the book, four for the second. After reading the first 130 pages, I decided to take a rest. Sorry, just couldn't keep on going. Then, few months later, I picked the book up again. From Harry's arrival at Hogwarts, the plot picked up the pace and I found myself actually liking it. But all in all, I am not impressed. It amazes me that such a book stirred so much emotions around the world. It can be viewed as a good metaphor of our own lives and society, though. ___

This book is not like most stories someone might read. By looking at the cover, readers see a young boy flying on a broomstick with a cloak on his back. When I first started reading the book, I was very interested. A baby being dropped off at someone's doorstep, and cats reading newspapers are not normal to most people. You just want to keep reading, because they cannot think of what might happen next.
This book has many other books along with it. It's kind of a never-ending story, with all the other books and movies that have come out since they started making Harry Potter. This book is a fantasy with a mystery. This book is not for all people because of some beliefs about magic, myths and lies. At the same time, it's mainly written for children and young adults. There is something that makes its seem so real and extremely interesting, that makes adults and the elderly love this book as much as children. It is kind of a family story that everyone loves.

Review: ~Harry Potter was an excellant novel. It never lost my intrest and I never wanted to put it down! I felt as though I were there with the characters in the scene. All my friends have read it, my teachers have read it, my 7 year old brother and his friends have read it-even my parents are reading it, and we all love it! If you are looking for an exciting read this book is for you.

Review: ~Not allowing kids to read this is like not allowing them to dream! ~ I'm 12 and I absolutly LOVE this book. It was a wonderful experience and one I'll never forget! And belive me-I (and any other kids for that matter)am not going to turn into an "evil, murederus child" just because I read a great fantasy. Which kid hasn't dreamed of hatching a dragon or flying or doing magic? (not devil's sorcery as others refer to it) There is no gross killing or anything else that should be ofensive. And besides, the overall message is always ~*~Good conquers evil~*~! This is a great book for ALL ages!

Summary: The New Craze
Review: ~When hearing about the Harry Potter books, I was skeptical. I have read so many books that are about the same sort of thing, and the authors absolutly murdered the whole idea. After hearing about how good it was from several friends, i finally tried reading it.
The begining, although very interesting, is somewhat hard to get through. It is worth it, though. I fell in love with theis book after the first couple of chapters. I found myself reading it whenever possible. the plot is great, and~~ keeps your attention.
Fantasy lovers will love this book, and I advise you to read all the others, too. JK Rowling is a wonderful author, and puts magic into books about magic!~
