Summary: A spell-binding book that is too magical for words
Review: When my friend suggested to read this book I laughed in herface. When I put it down I went out and bought a sorry note to giveher, for Harry Potter and The Sourcer's Stone is unforgettable. It's so imaginative it makes Jane Eyre seem tripe and utterly boring. To alll those people who insist that it is a children's book, read it because it's not often a reader can be enchanted and whisked off to such a remote and magical world where the writing is truely inspirational!

Summary: An awesome book!!!
Review: When my little brother first became obsessed with getting this book, I thought that he was crazy. It seemed to me like "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was just some sort of fad that would work itself out. I was initially only going to read it to find out why everybody loved it so much, but by the time I finished it I realized that the hype about it was well deserved.

J.K. Rowling's characters were very real and believable. The way that they interacted with each other was incredibly realistic. Her touches of humor, especially in the Weasley twins, were quite enjoyable.

Once I got started reading "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," I didn't want to stop. The last few chapters were especially suspenseful, and the ending totally surprised me. I would recommend this book to people of all ages.

Summary: This is the best book I've read!!
Review: When my mom gave me this book I was at first thinking "Oh, another book that won't go on my bookshelf with my favorite books." But I was wrong. I like the plot of the book and the way she describes everything and everyone in a detailed way. I also love the charectors names, and I hope there are many more coming!

Summary: A book,much better than cool,Awesome!
Review: When my mom got this book for me,I didn't think it would be all that different from books I had read earlier, but I was very wrong, very, very wrong. This book captures the emagination, with things like dragons, magic wands, trolls, giants, fierce competitions, ghosts, and especialy witches and wizards! This book is also so gloriously funny, and, unlike most books,it hooks you right from the beginning and it doesn't bore you with a page or two about how a wall looked, like a few things I have read.I therefore recomend this wonderful book, that gave me so much pleasure,to readers everywhere!

Summary: Simply Wonderful!
Review: When my Mom told me about it I thought it sounded really stupid. My mom looked every where for it and finally found it. I started reading it, and couldn't stop. My mom and me fought over it the next two weeks. After we finished it we had to order "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".

Summary: This book rocks!
Review: When my Mom told me to take this book out, that it was making a big hit in England, I'm like, "Yeah mom, whatever." But I picked it up and started reading it. Was I ever wrong. I read a chapter out loud to my mom and 15-year-old brother and then we couldn't put it down. We love it! Congrats to J.K. Rowling!

Summary: The book that changed my life.
Review: When my mother first suggested that I join the craze and pick my self up a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone I plain out laughed. Reading wasn't my "thing". Alas, after much nagging, I finally gave in and agreed to read just a little of the book. My plot was to read the first chapter and then inform my mother that I had better things to do. Everything was going according to plan until I came across one little problem; I loved it. Within the first few pages this book already had me totally engulfed. I absolutely could not put it down. I finished the book that same night.

The way J.K. Rowling writes - with such wit and enthusiasm, makes the book a magnet to all types of readers, the avid and, well, like my self, the non-reader. It was amazing to find myself having in-depth conversations about Harry Potter with an 8 year old. That's the best part about the book - although the book is designed for ages 9-12, it appeals to a much broader age range. One of the reasons I enjoyed this book so much is due to the fact that I could identify so well with the main character, Harry Potter; in Harry I saw strength, courage, and honesty. This book was filled to the brim with fantastic writing - one minute you'd be laughing with Harry and his friends, and the next you would fear for their lives.

This great book has introduced me to a new favorite past-time - reading!

Review: When my older brother gave me this book to read, I wasnt really sure what he was thinking, knowing this was a childrens book, I wasnt sure how much I would like it. But as soon as I had read the first few pages I knew it was somthing special. This is a really great book, it just drew me in, and I didnt want to put it down. The characters are wonderfully written, I wish that this book had been around when I was younger.

Summary: Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone
Review: When my teacher told us that we had to read at least one fantasy book from a big list my entire class moaned and groaned, obviously we don't like to read books. I looked through the list and saw Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone, I thought it sounded awesome so I went out and bought it a couple days later. When I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I remember the only book I've ever enjoyed other than that was the Witches. But when I started reading it I thought that this is a hundred times better than the Witches. And when I finished it I told my sister about it and she's going to start reading it sometime soon. I loved it so much I was praying for a sequel to come out and it did, so I ordered it from Amazon.com. So if you want a good book buy Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone, trust me no matter who you are you will love it.
