Summary: I have read a lot of great books but this one tops them all.
Review: This is one of those books that you can not put down once you have started. It is a little confusing but I have to say that I loved it all the same. I can still not belive that some people do not like it, but I guess that is the way people are. I give my complemnts to J.K. Rowling, If you are reading this I think you are a very talented writer.

Summary: A Delight for the Imagination
Review: This is one of those rare books that adults will enjoy just as much as children! I haven't had this much fun reading since I was a child reading Roald Dahl, Frank Baum and Frank Herbert. The characters are three dimensional, and the story lines are believeable and well developed. This will easily go down as classic literature.

Summary: Lives up to the hype!
Review: This is one time I have tried a much-hyped book, movie, etc. and found it to live up to that hype. I am a 46 year old mother of 2 adult children, and it almost (I repeat, almost) makes me wish they were 12 again so I could share it with them. I would rank it right up there with the favorite book of my own adolescence - "A Wrinkle in Time" by Madeline L'Engle. It addresses all the common fears, angst, and joys of growing up in this world, but in a fantastical setting, and has a twist ending uncommon in children's books. It treats the reader as though he or she had a brain, and that may be why we adults enjoy it so. I look forward to reading the others, but am a bit disappointed that a movie is to be made. Harry should remain in our minds and hearts as Rowlings has ignited them - that is the beauty of reading and imagination. As far as the concern that it is spreading evil - Oh, pul-leeeze!! As someone else here pointed out - all the traditional fairy tales (told to even younger audiences) included magic, witches, monsters, etc., often without the excellent messages relayed in the Potter books.

Review: This is possibly the greatest book written ever for young readers. It is fun and keeps your attention. This book is for all who wish to have a magnificent adventure with characters that you can somewhat relate to.

Review: This is probably my favorite book of all time because it is so interesting. The main character, Harry Potter, starts out as an outcast who has no friends and sleeps in a closet in his Aunt and Uncle's house. Then strange things start happening and Harry starts getting hundreds of letters that his Aunt and Uncle won't let him read. Finally he finds out he is a wizard and Hogwarts School of Wizardry wannts him to attend this year. Harry has many new and exciting adventures there during his first year of school which makes this book a real page-turner.

Review: This is probably THE best book I have ever read. And its sequels I am not even going to go into they are so good. i can't judge which is better out of the 3. I love the imagination and creativity that JK Rowling puts into this book. It is absoloutly incredible!

Review: This is probably the best book iv'e ever read in my life. The incorparation of all the characters is written beautifully and the story line is amazing. I love how this book stands alone from the others, J.K. Rowling has a unique way of writing this book, but none the less does an amazing job. I recomend this book for people of all ages(above 6)all shapes, sizes, and reading pacers.

Review: This is really a great book. It's so interesting and so exciting. With all the magic, you never know what's going to happen next and you can't put it down until you finish it. I'm 9 years old and I read a lot of books, and this is one of my very favorites. I've read it three times and I've just had it a few weeks. I can't wait to read the sequel. If you like to read, you should definitely read this book. You will love it.

Summary: The Most Wonderful Book I've ever met
Review: This is so wonderful to read this wonderful book which drew all my attention into the description, even though I am no longer a child. I have told every my friend that this is definitely the only book that kept me from all other ordinary stuff and had my whole concentration on, in recent years. J.K. Rowling's fluent and clear description made me want to read more and I'd say that I hate this feeling of waiting my the other three books, which have been ordered on Amazon.com. In my view, the Harry Potter books are not only for the kids but for adults, especially for those who still have dreams and wanna believe the old and fansanating legends and stories. I would hold my breath when I read the threat of Voldemort and be relieved after reading Dumbledore's explanation toward Harry. This book has satisified my magical imagination and inspired me to "dream" a lot.... I'm really looking forward to reading more about the story soon.
