Summary: Harry Potter Histeria
Review: This is a review of the movie and the book. The book was great because JK Rowling paint's the character's picture so well in your mind. Also the action was excellent. In the movie the Quidditch matches were more fierce than in the book. Also I pictured Fluffy way differently. I pictured him as a Doberman. Daniel Radcliffe played Harry Potter excellently. I even here JK Rowling picked him herself because that was how she pictured him. The character that played Severus Snape was just as I pictured him. The actor that played Albus Dumbledore was just like him. I reccomend this book for people no younger than fourth grade. Besides the slang this book had no spelling or grammar mistakes. Harry makes some great catches in the movie. The movie had alot of parts cut out though. The books content was great.

Summary: Great job reading by Jim Dale
Review: This is a review of the Unabridged Audio CD of book 1. Amazingly, my review will be number 4594! I have never seen a book get 1000 reviews.

I had never seen the movie or read the book but my 25 year old son told me he feels this book should be required reading in school. Just got back from driving the family on a vacation and it was fun listening to Jim Dale read this book. I think this is the same song and dance Jim Dale that played Doc Terminus so wonderfully in Petes Dragon.

What a great adventure it was to hear Dale, a veteran broadway actor read this book with the accents and passion with which he delivered the story.

This books comes on 7 CDs and covered the drive from Tampa to Biloxi perfectly. So if you have a 10 hour drive ahead of you, consider obtaining the audio version of this book.

Summary: great adventure
Review: This is a story about a boy whose name were Harry Potter and his adventures. He was risen up by his aunt and his aunt's family, in a very ordinary neighborhood in the ordinary world. He was told that his parents were very normal people who died in a car crash, but one day he discovered all those was a lie, he was actually a wizard that came from a wizard family and the wizard world. In that world he found his real self and what he was good at. This story taught me that no matter who you are there must be a place for you or a job that only you can do.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Review: This is a story about an eleven year old boy who discovers that he is a wizard. He is invited to a school called Hogwarts which is for witches and wizards. He also discovers that his parents were killed by an evil wizard named Voldamort and he survived one
of Voldamort's spells. He is popular because of a lightning shaped scar on his forehead that symbolizes that he survived the
evil spell. He meets some friends and some enemies. The story is also about Harry and his friends trying to find clues to solve the mystery of what happened to Voldamort after his powers disappeared and how to keep the Sorcerer's Stone away from Voldamort. I really enjoyed this book. It was exciting and interesting! I look forward to reading the other Harry Potter books.

Summary: Great For ALL ages
Review: This is a story of a young boy ignored and dispised by his Aunt and Uncle, whom he was left with when his parents were killed by an evil sorcerer. This book is funny, witty and has a very sophisticated sense of humor. A very fast read. Will keeps you in suspense. I couldnt put it down! Once you read Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone you will be craving the sequels!

Summary: Magic Boy
Review: This is a super book about a boy. But he's no regular boy he's a magic boy. The thing is he dosent know that. He thinks he is a normal boy. I think you should read this book to find out what happens to him[Harry Poter being the boy]. I like this book because it has everthing a book needs. You should really read this book. It also paints a picture in your head. I recomend this book to 4th grade and up.

Summary: Fine fantasy, waiting for more
Review: This is a terrific book deserving at least the four stars I've given it. It kept me reading, particularly because I liked the characters. Some of the situations--the school bully, the Dickensian abusive foster family, the mean teacher--are stock. There is enough good stuff that is a lot of fun--an owl mail system, for instance--to recommend it. I teach fourth grade and I think my students will love it. I plan to read it to them. This just might become a classic, along with Charlotte's Web and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I went right from this book into the next one.

Summary: Wonderul Mystical Excitement
Review: This is a terrific book. My six year old didn't want me to put the book down and to be honest I didn't want to put it down. Very enjoyable and never boring. Why anyone wants to ban this book is beyond me. It is the epitome of good vs. evil. A fabulous read.

Summary: This is a fabulous book!
Review: This is a terrific book. This book and the Chamber of Secrets are my favorite book. It a good book if you're in ages 7-13 and if you are under the age of 9 you probably want an adult to read it to you! I highly recommend you read this book!

Summary: Magical
Review: This is a truly wonderful book, it captures the aura of books like Oliver Twist and Alice in Wonderland that actually manage to bridge that gap between a story developed for children that has so much appeal for adults. In an increasingly high pressured world it is a joy to drift away into this land of make believe, that offers so many messages and lessons. This should be a mandatory read for everybody over the age of 10.
