Rating: Summary: Excellent start to an excellent series Review: This first installment of 7 (currently 4 released) Harry Potter books captures the attention of children, and at times even adults. It tells of a young boy, whose parents had mysteriously died, living in a cupboard with his cruel aunt and uncle. One day, he was invited to a wizarding school, much to the displeasure of his uncle. Yet he boards a train at station 9 and 3/4, and goes to study magic at Hogwarts. There he meets friends and embarks on many adventures and misfortunes. This is a excellent series, with much suspense. The plot is well written, almost like everything here is the truth behind the myths and legends of werewolves and such. I recommend this book to children and even adults.

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter books Review: This happened about a months ago. I came to school and one of my close friends came to me and told me about the Harry Potter series and told me that they were really good. So I went to the library and I checked out the only book that was availible and that was Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I started reading it and I thought it was boring because I didn't understand it very well. This was because I hadn't read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Anyway, soon it was starting to get good and then when I finished it, it turned out to be great. It ended out that I had read all the books in the series. I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone five times. I read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets seven times. And I read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban ten times. I wanted to write this review to show everyone that the beginning of a book isn't always good but the end is always fantastic. Hope you read the books! BYE!
Rating: Summary: Best books I have ever read!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: This has got to be the best book ever written. I have read all three books. All three times I looked foward to the journeys that the characters have. I like the fact that there is so much room for imagination. And I think that is why there are so many great reviews on the page. This book is unlike the others because it does not decribe everything so you get an exact picture in your head, and you get to personalize it and fill in your own picture.
Rating: Summary: Terrible Book Review: This has to be about the worst book I've ever read. The plot was choppy, the characters unoriginal, and the overall writing poor. I weep for the person who compares this series with anything of Jordan or Tolkien's magnitude.
Rating: Summary: Very well written, creative, awesome and intrigueing Review: This has to be one of the best books I've read in years. This book is very cretive and J. K. Rowling has her own wonderful personal orignality. This book keeps you interested from beginning to end. It cn keep you in suspence nd give you laugh or two. This book is great read aloud or by yourself. This book is a wonderful book with a lot of imagination put into it!
Rating: Summary: I loved this book Review: This has to be the best book I have read in a very long time. I pity kids who are not allowed to read this book. There is no bad language in comparison to teenage words (I can talk, I'm 13). This book has friendship, critical thinking, and promotes nonviolence. I think people trying to ban this book have real problems. This book shows kids that you can start at rock bottom and become the most powerful being in the world. I would not have read this book if my friends hadn't. But I started in first period at 8:00 and finished by 8th period at 3:15. I could have read the whole book in an hour but those darned teachers kept trying to make me learn. (That was a joke.) If you have any reason not to read this book, ignore it. You will be glad you did. P.S. If anyone knows J.K.Rowling, tell her she needs to write about a female charecter. And tell her it better be as great a series as Harry Potter.il you see it - I guarantee you will not be wasting your money on this purchase. --This text refers to the Hardcover edition
