Summary: Very Entertaining!
Review: This book, as well as the other two in the series, make great reading for a large age range. I encourage parents who are skeptical about the Harry Potter books to read them and make an informed decision. I have found them to be highly imaginative, very entertaining and creative.

Summary: The best book that has ever been written!!!
Review: This book, from an 11 year old is the most incredible book written of all time. It is filled with suspence and mystery, filled with cliff-hangers and everything that makes an awesome book awesome. It is filled with magic (duh!) and thrilling suprises. It should be named #1 book of the year!!!

Summary: The Harry Potter books are the best books ever created!!!
Review: This book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is an amazing book. It is the first book out of a set of 4 books. The author, J.K Rowling, is probably one of the most brilliant authors ever. It is amazing the way that she weaves each and every part of the book together. This book is full of twists and leaves the reader not wanting to put the book down. The 4 Harry Potter books that J.K Rowling has written so far are 4 realy amazing books, each one longer and better then the one coming before it. The first book, and the 3 that follow it are compelling and unpredictable. If you are unsure on whether you want to begin reading the Harry Potter series or not, I highly reccomend that you do, because I am sure that you will enjoy them very much.

Summary: Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone
Review: This book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is a fabulous book. It's funny has mystery and action and describes the setting and characters to be life like. It has a weird thing that makes you want to read more and more! The magic in the book is getter are 3 things I didn't like about the book they are the Dursleys but I think every body hated them, and it is a little boring at the beginning of the book but good books can't just start off talking about the action and if this book would have more action that would be great! I have read book 2, 3, and 4 those were also great books too, now I'm waiting for the movie to come out. This book is for any ages because my little brother read the book and he loved it too and he is only in 4 grade so it's for almost any age! Like I said this is a great book and I'm waiting for many more great books from J.K Rowling!

Summary: It was great, it inspired me
Review: This book, Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone was a great book. It was full of unbeliveable magic, adventure, and legend. With certain items like a mirror that shows what you want and an invisability cloak it puts this book to a greatr mark in excellence. It may seem akward at first, but that is the point to stump you in the begining. It makes you actually want to go to hogwrts school of witchcraft and wizerdy. With an interesting life of the Non-Muggles, you will see pictures don't stay on the picture, food comes different, many creatures roam freely on the outside magic world, dragons come at different kinds. Same as brooms, such as the pegasus 2000. Also wands are made from combinations that pick the magic weilder. Cauldrons come in different condiotions, you have a bank run by goblins. this will actually make you leave reality for a long time.

Summary: Got me hooked on fantasy
Review: This book, I have to admit, is one of my favorites. However, there are many other better books out there for adolecents and kids, too. If you enjoyed this book, there are many other books that are much better.
If you are above the age of ten and don't mind a little bloodshed, I reccommend Garth Nix, Tamora Pierce, T.A. Barron, and Diana Wynne Jones.

Summary: Harry Potter
Review: this book, no- all three of these books are THE best books i have ever read. although they are very long, they are over with shortly. i read the whole series in a week. I got the sorcerer's stone for Christmas, and after reading 30 pages i absolutely had to go buy the other ones. They are so addictive once you start that you literally cannot put it down! I read the book late at night when i was supposed to be sleeping, and also i read two of them during the week that i was supposed to be studying for mid-terms (i'm in 7th grade)! so parents, if you really want you kids to read, get them this book. also, make sure you havenothing planned in the near future 'cause all your kid's gonna want to do is read these books!

Summary: Harry Potter Rules!
Review: This book, the first in the series, is great for people youngand old. It is about a boy named Harry whose parents were killed in a"car crash" and he was left on his evil aunt and uncle's doorstep by a monster on a flying motorcycle later identified as Hagrid. Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and Dudley are not nice to him because, since they knew his past, they didn't want to mess with him. His bedroom was a closet. Then the letters started coming.Uncle Vernon tried to get rid of them, but they keep multiplying, so they move to an island and Hagrid rows to them and tells Harry what is in the letter. He is destined to go to Hogwarts, the wizarding school. He goes many strange places, meets many strange people, learns about a new sport, and conquers the wizard that really killed his parents. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is worth missing your favorite TV shows to sit down and read. J. K. Rowling is a great author and remember, a book lasts longer than a Surviver.

Summary: There's more to the book, than just fun.
Review: This book, though many people think so, was not written for children only. I was actually written for everybody, because there are something to find in yourself, even if you are an adult. You may have read the book and think that it is just a book for children. But you are wrong. The book is loaded with interesting views on real life. For example, in the best school for normal people, to prepare the kids for future life, kids are required to carry a stick to hit each other when the teachers are not looking. So when you read it again, considering this approach, I believe you will like it more.
