Review: This book was recommended to me by many peers so I chose to read it, and it was amazing. The book takes you on an adventure, one that I have never experienced. There is so much detail the book almost comes to life, in fact it does come to life in the theaters but that being a whole other story. J.K. Rowling and her novel Harry Potter is a book for all ages. It being easy to understand but at the same time containing some intellectual thought. By reading the first one, I know it will be impossible to not continue on and read the rest of Harry Potter and the amazing experiences he and all the characters go through. I now understand why this book is so well recognized and loved, and I recommend it to all.

Review: This book was referred to me by the mother of my son's classmate. She told me that although the boy's were young they would be able to follow the plot of the tale. Well, we were not disappointed! My husband started reading it to our son and very soon we were all in the bed together at night listening attentively to Harry's adventure. This is a delightful, exciting tale for children of all ages, and adults who still have the ability to imagine and dream of the wonderful and fantastic. The writing is quite sophisticated and the structure of the text is ingenious. This is a fresh innovative addition to the many vibrant novels written for children. My family looks forward to sharing many more evenings with Harry, Dumbledore, Hermoine, Ron and Hagrid

Review: This book was simpy the gratest! I thought I would hate it! You know...everyone is reading it. So...some boys in my class were reading it. (Of course boys taste suck! )I got it for Christmas. I thought "well what the heck." I started reading Harry Potter. I couldn't put it down. I love that book so much. I am reading it for the third time! So I recomend this book. Also read the 2nd and third book! They are great too!

Review: This book was so fun to read and engaging that I finished it in one day. I just could not put it down. This book was written for children but it will also appeal to older readers as well. I should know, I'm 18 years old. The descriptions of the magic world were so fun and imaginitive. This book will probably make a great movie but it will be hard to put all the enchanting descriptions into words. I loved it so much that I had to order the sequel Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets from Amazon UK. I can't wait to read it and I hope the author continues Harry's adventures for years and years. A fantastic book!
