Rating: Summary: EXCELLENT! THRILLING! BRAVO FOR J.K! Review: This book is a ROUSING! RIVETING! HIGH FLYING! FAST PACED! adventure of fantasy. When I first saw one of these books I wasn't interested. But I bought it this year at a local Barnes & Noble store, to give the book a chance. I wasn't dissapointed. It offered all the fantasy a fantasy buff could ask for. It all starts when a boy named Harry Potter escapes from the grip of an evil sorcerer called Voldemort. From that moment on, Harry is famous among witches and wizards. They all raise their glasses to him(To Harry Potter, the boy who lived). Wow. That's fame. Well, he lives a miserable eleven years with his horrible Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, and Cousin Dudley Dursley. Where do they come up with these names. Well, I don't think Vernon is that un-known, but Petunia and Dudley. Man! Anyway, one day a friendly giant of a wizard named Hagrid comes to tell Harry he's supposed to be awizard. Harry goes off to Hogwarts(What a name) School of Wizardry. There, Harry finds magic, friends, excitement, broomstick sports, and mystery around every corner. I love this book. The story is well told, the plot is well constructed. And I can't wait to read the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh Harry Potter books. I recommend this. I can pretty much garauntee you won't be dissapointed.

As you read this wonderful book you will go thuough his adventures at his whichcraft school called Hogwarts. You will learn to love his friends and feel what he feels. I highly recamend this book!
Rating: Summary: I can't wait to read the next two! Review: This book is a summer read that I would suggest to anybody, no matter what age! It was lighthearted, and the characters seemed to come to life, despite the fictional setting. I'm on my way to buy the next two of the Harry Potter series!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS AN AMAZING,THRILLING,AND AWESOME BOOK! Review: THIS BOOK IS A THRILL. I LOVED IT I THOUGHT IT SHOULD BE THE 1ST BOOK INTO OUTER SPACE. I THINK PARENTS SHOULD EVEN READ IT. IN THE YEAR 2000 THIS BOOK WILL PROBABLY BE A MONUMENT. POKEMON CARDS WILL PROBABLY BE OVER RUN BY HARRY POTTER CARDS. I AM GLAD WE HAVE FREE READING OR I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND THIS BOOK. I CAN,T WAIT TO READ THE REST OF THE SERIES. HOPEFULLY THEY ARE AS GOOD AS THIS ONE! I GIVE IT 100 THUMBS UP TO THE SKY!
Rating: Summary: Thrilling Review: This book is a thrilling fantasy for children ages 8 - 13. The Dursleys are a normal family but one day a surprise bundle comes. The surprise is a boy named Harry. Harry's aunt and uncle, the Dursleys treat him like trash. He has to wear hand-me down and sleep in a cupboard. One day a letter comes for Harry and his life is changed forever...
Rating: Summary: Wonderful novel Review: This book is a true winner and not just for children! It is action packed and just downright interesting!! A good read and I highly recommend it!!
Rating: Summary: Exciting, fun, and enjoyable Review: This book is a very entertaining, fun, lively and easy read. It is a fictitious story, but it gives children the opportunity to dream and be creative with their thinking. This book could be used with 6th grade and above. Parents and teachers could use this book to promote the study of Language Arts, History, Geography and Science.
Rating: Summary: Darn good, but not great. Review: This book is a very fine peace of literature, though in some aspects it goes well over the top. The suggested reading ages say 9-12, but I think that people over 12 would love this book also. (I'm 13.) It's filled with magic, and in my opinion is not a "mean-spirited", but "good-hearted" book. Anyone under 8 probaly wouldn't enjoy the series, but I loved all three of them.
Rating: Summary: Read to learn the truth about HARRY POTTER Review: This book is a very good book to read if you like witchs and goblins and all sorts of creatures. If you like that sort of stuff you will enjoy this. If you are young and can be laughed very easliy this is a book for you. I liked it beacuse it was really wierd and there are some things that make you wonder about other things. In encourge I tell you to buy the book or read it if you do't you are missing out on a lot of fun and a lot of excitement
