Summary: Not 5 Stars--I'd give it 10!
Review: This book exceeds every single Redwall book I have read, as my favorite book. It has every element wanted to tell a good story. After my family was taking too long to read it out loud, I finished most of the book before they finished a chapter. JK Rowling did a fabulous job on her first pubished book, did you know it was a woman author? After reading two chapters about Hogwarts, I wanted to go there instantly. I learned that the first two books are being made into a movie, and now I'm anxiously waiting to see it, and I hope they don't change a word from the books. If anyone knows about a school like Hogwarts, please let me know...and see you there!

Summary: Absolutly Stunning!
Review: This book flows like a magical stream, spinning a tale of friendship, loyalty, courage, and determination. There are also many underlying themes about racism, bigotry, and tolerence. But most of all, it delights the senses, and awakens the imagination. Rarely have I been more engrossed in a novel.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is one of the best novels I have ever read, and I am far beyond the target age of 8 to 12 year-olds. Ms. Rowling has done an expert job of bringing the reader into the story, and making him feel as thought he were walking through the vast corridors of Hogwarts beside Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Shortly into the novel, one finds himself caring very much what happens to these children, and anxiously awaiting their next course of action.

To the nay-sayers of the Harry Potter phenominon, I dare you to actually read this book. Look at it for what it is: a charming and enthralling tale of an orphan boy looking for his place in the world.

Review: This book grabbed me with the first sentence. All of Harry Potter's adventures kept me on my toes. Everything fit together so well. My mother has read it as well and she fully enjoyed it. I have also read the sequel and I highly reccomend that book too! Ms. Rowling is quite an imaginative writer!

Summary: Great book!!!!!!!!! :)
Review: This book had me captured from the start to the finish! Then I had to re-read it because (Alas!) I did not have the second book in the series.

It's hard to put my finger on what exactly made this book so amazing... The writing is excelent, pulls you right into the story until you could tell it as if you'd been there yourself. You come to know the characters as you might know your best friends. Or in the case of some, best enemies.

Well, I won't ruin the book by telling what happens - the suspense is thrilling! :) Definately a must read, though. 'Bye.

Summary: FANTASTIC! WONDERFUL! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Review: This book had me caught by the second page. Indeed, the first chapter title, 'The Boy Who Lived', was merely a foreshadowing of what was to come. I knew Harry would be in danger eventually. But how? I had to read on!

Petunia, Vernon and Dudley are the most Muggle-ish of all Muggles. They treat him like dirt. It's a welcome shock when Hagrid tells him that he's a wizard! I loved it. The train ride and the first day are all interesting.

My my my what a hard sport Quidditch is! And when life and death are involved, it is only a lead to the beginning of the search against Snape.

Read this book. You won't regret it!
