Rating: Summary: Harry Potter is the most excellent book ever!!!!! Review: The Harry Potter books are amazing!! They get you sucked into their world the instant you sit down to read them. The first and second books I read my sisters copy, but i bought my own set so i could keep it with me and give it to my children when i get older. I have read the England version of the third one, and it is just as surprising, exciting, and delightful!!!!
Rating: Summary: It's not just for kids Review: The Harry Potter books are amazing. The first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, is about a young boy named Harry who for most of his life, had been living with his aunt and uncle who did not treat him nicely. Then, Harry finds out that he is a wizard and his life changes. This book has a very good story line, and the characters are developed so brilliantly that it is easy to imagine that they are real. I would recommend this book to anyone, even adults, because it is a joy to read.

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter And The Phlosiphers Stone= A 5 Star Book! Review: The Harry Potter books are full of mystery and humer. In are class we have literature circles(a bunch of kids reading books togeather) we just got to start Harry Potter! All the kids love it.
Rating: Summary: Good, but why change the title? Review: The Harry Potter books are good fun, well worth reading, and full of neat stuff (in a wizard's photographs, the people in the photograph don't just stand still: if they're busy they disappear, if they're pleased to see you they wave). Harry Potter isn't just some boring child-hero: he's real, he changes, he misses his parents... and he has neat friends. But why change the title? The original title was Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The Philosopher's Stone was an actual medieval concept - a substance that could make you immortal or change "base matter" into gold. The sorcerer's stone is completely meaningless - particularly as, unless they've changed the text of the novel too, the stone is referred to as the Philosopher's Stone throughout.

Rating: Summary: This book was the most fun adventure I have ever read! Review: THe Harry Potter books are my new favorite books. I absolutely love them! However, I read the reviws, and some of them made me want to puke! Someone said that they are glorified horror stories! Get a life! I have read so many ridiculous reviews of this book that are written by people who are looking for something to complain about. Someone said that the author made fun of fat people because Hagrid gave Dudley a pigs tail. Wasn't he a mean, selfish, spoiled brat? That's why that happened. It had absolutely nothing to do with his weight! And some people say that they thought that breaking rules was not okay with them. HONESTLY! Would this have been an interesting, funny, delightful book if Harry, Ron, and Hermione had not broken the rules? Not at all! Some people remarked that they didn't like the idea of witchcraft and wizardry being OK. Well, are the students being taught magic so they can hurt or curse other people? No! It's the wizards that do that, the ones that "went bad" that are the enemies! My main point is that some people are taking these books too seriously. THey interpret them as bad influences, instead harmless, funny entertaining childrens books! Lighten up, people! Anyway, I love these books so much, and I will save them to read to my children, and they will read them to their children.
Rating: Summary: The epitome of great writing! Review: The Harry Potter books are quality reading for children and adults alike! While the books are written with a pre-teen audience in mind, the story will sweep most adults away as well. Rowling takes the reader to a magnificent fantasy world and describes each detail thoroughly. Morality should not be an issue in which this book is judged. It does not encourage children to believe they are wizards and in no way slanders the morality of real-life. If anything, it shows that there are some immoral things that do go on in the world, and that you can overcome them, such as in the story line of Harry and his "muggle" family.
Rating: Summary: It is the Best book I have ever read Review: The Harry Potter books are some of the best books I have ever read. J.K. Rowling describes the scene in the books so well, you fell like you are being sucked into Harry's magical world. These books are very imaginitive and creative, and I recommend them to ANYBODY, not just kids. They are excellent books and can be enjoyed by people of all age groups. JK Rowling captures your attention from the first words, to the ending sentence. A wonderful story. If you were thinking about buying this book BUY IT, it will be one of the best books you will ever read.
Rating: Summary: BEST BOOK I'VE READ EVER; It's worth more than five stars! Review: The Harry Potter books are the best books ever. I would never have thought a book could have interested me so much. I wish it were me instead of Harry. I loved these books and since my birthday is in the month it comes out I'll see if I can get the third one.
