Review: The best part about this book and the whole series is its mass appeal to all ages. I'm in the ninth grade and all my friends and everyone I know loves these books. I know people from ages 7 to 70 who love Harry Potter! I love the mystery, the danger, and the excitement of this series, and The Sorceror's Stone is an excellent beginning.

Review: The best part of my school day was when my teacher read Harry Potter. It was even better then recess. My favorite character was Hermane because she was boss and knew everything. It was a great book because it was so much fun and it was funny.

Review: The best way to enjoy this extraordinary book by a gifted author is to first read the book and then listen to Jim Dale. I say this advisedly since I have only listened to the four books (in my car driving to work and on vacation). However, the joy of reading should not be lost. My son, Geoff, has first read the books and now is listening to them - and is thrilled again. This wonderful combination of both gifted author and actor should not be missed!

Review: The book "Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone" by J.K. Rowling was quit a good book,except for the begining. It was dull and boring. I would recomend this book to people of all ages; the cover of the book may look a little childish , but that's exactly what I thought. Though this book gets better and better with each chapter, it dragged me into it and I didn't want to stop reading it. The book is confusing but after a while it all clicks. There are a lot of characters in this book so it's hard to keep track of all of them. Everyone should read this book because it's a good experience and something amazing that you never see as an everyday thing.

Summary: A fabulous story about the world of a brave young sorcerer
Review: The book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" deals with the story of an orphan who manages living in the sorcerer's school "Hogwarts" although there are a lot of people who are against him and who try to destroy his glory and his life. In my opinion J.K. Rowling was very successful in writing this story, because she created a whole new world with a lot of strange things in it like the giant Hagrid or the sport "Quidditch". She describes everything in detail so the reader can imagine what the things look like and for this reason he feels like being a pupil of Hogwarts. Another positive aspect is the fact that there's is a lot of suspense till the last page. All in all one can say that this book is very fascinating and interesting for children and also for grown-ups. I could not stop reading the book and when I had finished it, I directly wanted to buy the next.

Review: The book 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone' is an amazing book! As I began to read it I thought, 'Oh no, this book is only going to talk about the Durley's(Harrys Aunt, Uncle and their son).' I kept reading and after Chapter Six... I COULD NOT PUT THE BOOK DOWN! I love Rowlings' style and the story is indeed MAGICAL! I actually rate his book with 10 stars... not 5... seriously, I am not kidding. It's THAT good! :)

The author captivates you by making each chapter even more interesting and suspenseful so that you cannot stop reading !!! I have only read this first book , but i'm sure that the second one will be just as , if not more interesting than the first ! Be sure to read both books ! They are my favorites !!!
