Summary: A great book for kids who like fiction and fantasy.
Review: My fifth grade teacher read this book as a read-aloud for our class. We were always pleading with her, Please? Just one more chapter! Harry Potter is a very interesting character, and also realistic. The author pulls you into the story, making you feel like you're really there. I would highly recommend this book for any age. It includes adolescent fiction, mystery, comedy, survival, plus good volcabulary, and much more!

Summary: Not just a book for kids
Review: My first reaction to the big hubub about Harry Potter was just idle speculation. I thought, well, I suppose it must be a good childrens book. As time went by, however, my friends (aged friends!) read it and they were raving about it and recommended that I read it. And so I did. I can just say that this is one of the very few books that were up to my expectations. It is such an original plot and its amazing how well Rowling conveys the feelings of the characters in the book, Snape with his emmence dislike for poor Harry, Hargrid's kind and gentle nature, despite his physical description, the vindictive nature of Malfoy, Ron's longing to be better than his brothers, and Harry's happiness about finding out he is a wizard. Rowling introduces some delightful idea's into the story, such as the sport Quiddich, which I found highly entertaining, and the rivalry between the four houses at Hogwarts. An excellent read, especially for those young at heart. For those who read it, it will be one, if not the, most entertaining and delightful books you have ever read.

Summary: To me, it was a surprising good read.
Review: My freind was reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in class one day. I asked her if she liked and thought it was good. She turned to me and flat out said, "it is terrific". I thought about getting it, and then one day I had to have surgery in my mouth(tooth exposure, stitches, oww). After I got the dreadful procedure done my mother and I went to a bookstore and I broke down and bought the book. I don't really like to read and thought since I had to stay off my feet(due to the numbing)why not? The book is the longest book I have ever read(309 pgs.), I read the book in 4 days (would have read it sooner but school got in the way!). To make a long story short(too late, huh?), most people who read it say it is the best book they have ever read--and I agree. The book was imaginative, wonderful in every way, and surprising. Some say it is terrible and will put things in your head--the book is unrealistic and every kid(and grown-up)knows that(of course I can't speak for every kid, but the majority). I have now joined the crowd(something I rarely do)and will be looking forward to many more books by Ms. Rowling(and not just Harry Potter either).

Review: My friend begged me to read this book even though we are both a lot older than nine (the suggested reading age for this title). This book was great, really fun and original, and I just loved it. You really feel sorry for Harry living with his muggle relatives and you cheer when he finally has some friends. Overall this book is loads of fun. I have just two words for you READ IT !!!!!

Summary: Excellent Book For Fantasy Lovers
Review: My friend introduced this book to me and I loved it! I felt drawn into it. Young Harry Potter thinks he has a horrible life but is proven wrong when he finds out he is a wizard and supposivly very popular and important! He learns that he need not go to a regular school but a school of wizardry. You have to read this GREAT, AWESOME, EXCELLENT, GROOVY book to find out how he must save the school and meet with an old rivalry who did much damage to his life! I hope you enjoy it as much as me!

Summary: It looks pretty bad, but...........
Review: My friend recomended this book. At first, I thought it would be bad, then I started it after my mom kept nagging me. the first chapter was good, and sort of mysterious, the mean Dursly family, shooting stars, the owls and people in clokes? It was all starting to add up, but I did not understand...... The next chapter was even better. Harry, a skinny little guy, was always getting beat up by his fat, mean cousin Dudly. Yet, strange things were happining. What would happon to poor, little Harry? Finally, all pf my questions were answered, and much more! You find Harry a wizzard, and off to Hogwarts! Plus, a great action mystery was also added, like, who was N. Flammel, and what was the sorcer's stone? What was Snepe trying to do? Would harry get expelled, and what would his fellow Griffindors think when......... I love this book, and you will, too. Don't worry! It may look dorky, but adaults love it! Great for people all ages!

Review: My friend recommends me to read this book is the reason that I chose this book at the beginning. She said the book is excellent and it is worth for me to read, so she strongly recommends me to read it.
I suppose that this book is about a boy who wants to find a sorcerer's stone when I look to the cover of the book. After I read it, I know that I was wrong. Actually, this book is about a boy who is called Harry Potter. He has to sleep under the cupboard which is small, dark for eleven years. How cruel are his uncle and aunt? Also, his fat cousin and his friend always insult Harry. Harry Potter isn¡¦t happy for lived with the Dursleys until he knows that he is a wizard. And he recognize two best friends¡XRon Weasley & Hermione Granger at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
I like this book very much. Especially two part of this book, one part is Rubeus Hagrid dally with Harry¡¦s cousin and the other part is Harry Potter help the Gryffindor to win the Quidditch. It is very interesting and exciting.
J.K. Rowling has a gift for keeping the emotions, fears and triumphs of her characters on a human scale, even while the supernatural is popping out all over. So that HARRY POTTER IS A WONDERFUL BOOK that I have never read.

Summary: The coolest book ever
Review: My friend said I should really read this book so I did I am glad I did. It is about this boy who finds out he is a wizard. He found out that he had to go to this school called Hogwarts school of Witch Craft and Wizardy. He meets this boy named Ron Weasley. They always get into trouble at this school. In the end of the book everything works out. It was full of mysterious and interesting things. Some of the things they have in the book are really cool. I really think you should read this book because it is really good!
