Review: "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is the major start of a huge craze! Harry Potter is a boy around my age who has a downstairs closet for a bedroom and complete weirdos for relatives. Whats a boy to do? But on his 11th birthday, he got the one visit which would change his life forever. I recommend this book since its so adventurous and exciting!

Review: "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was an amazing book, in my opinion. I have read other fantasy stories (such as "The Hobbit" and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe") and this is one of the best ones I've seen. It is not a story for little kids, as many people think. What I like about this story is how it tells about a totally fictional place in such a realistic, believable way that anyone can relate to. (I don't want to spoil the story for anyone who hasn't read it, so I'm not going to give any details about it just in case!)The characters have their own unique personalities that are shaped gradually throughout the chapters, which makes the story even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this book and its sequels to any type of fantasy or science fiction reader, and pretty much everyone else too.

Summary: Harry Potter... Oh wonderful Potter!
Review: "Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone" by J.K Rowling is the best book I have ever read. It is suspensful, entertaining and just plain wonderful. From my view, every child by the age of 14 should have read if not the first but all of the Harry Potter books. My older sister (age 13) did not want to read this, although her two best friends read this book and loved it. By the title it seems not very interesting to older kids! But as soon as you turn the first page you get hooked. Some people are sarting to try to "ban" Harry Potter because of the black magic mentioned in the book, but after reading, it made me less scared of the scary things 10 year olds imagine, such as goblins, ghosts and witches. I have been able to go to bed without looking under the bed. Harry Potter does not influence anything bad. It says how black magic is evil and bad but it does not promote it. Anyone who thinks that these books are woryhless, they are CRAZY! Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is a wonderful book that everyone should read... even adults.

Harry's adventures at school are much like ones children have at their own schools, yet Harry's advetures have a wonderful twist of fantasy in them. The clever charecters in the story will humor and entertain you. Even the names of charecters are amusing. Both children and adults will love this book.

Summary: Its a pretty good book...
Review: "Harry Potter and the Sourcerer's Stone" is a pretty good book, but i don't think J. K. Rowling should use well known myths in her books (like in this case "fluffy" the three headed dog). I would like her books a lot more if she thought of her own ideas. Yes, she does use her own ideas, but from what i've read (and what i've heard about the other books) Harry does encounter some known myths and ledgens in his adventures. I'm not saying this is a bad book, i really think its quite good, but all i'm saying is that i would like her books a lot better if she thought of other things instead of using myths and ledgens (even if they're only on a couple of pages).

Review: "Harry Potter" is bound to become a classic. R.K. Rowling's British, almost "Roald Dahl" style, is very distinct and pleasant. This story is great for EVERYONE. It combines urban life with life in the fantastical land of wizards and witches. The book continues to climb in masterpiece as the story progresses. Harry and his friends are lovable; the unlovable characters are VERY unlovable. This book is beautiful! Congratulations to Rowling on this first book!!
