Summary: Great book to get kids to like reading
Review: If your child likes adventure and to be able to relate to a person who has problems then this book is for your kids and possibly you. I started to read Harry Potter novels just because I wanted to see what people were all comlaining about. And well I was hooked!!!! Even read the books while trying to hand out Halloween candy! My daughter (9) who HATES to read saw how hooked I was and asked to read it. And she became hooked, begging for the next book! Then my son (7) started in on them. Some words he may not understand but still loves these books. The Harry Potter books have good lessons for the kids. They teach that even though things may seem stacked against you, if you try hard enough and rely upon yourself and your knowledge you can not be beat. I highly recommend these novels.. All of them!

Summary: Greatest Book Ever!!!!!!!
Review: If your ever feeling down this book will pick you up again! It's full of mystical adventure to the little orphan boy dropped on the Dursley's doorstep one cold night. Harry finds out he's a wizard and he's going to attend Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. It is a wonderful tale full of humor and being serious all at the same time. It's a exciting tale for young and old! On a scale of 1 to 5 I give it a 10.
J.K. Rowling makes pictures in your mind. And Mary Grandpre draws them for you so it's as easy a pie. I never expected to ever find a book like Harry Potter. I almost which he was real.

Summary: It is the best book ever
Review: If your like me, you are a book hound,but most of the books just don't fit your taste. You have read other books about fanticy, but just not good enough. Now Potter comes out, and your just not sure. Should you buy it, or leave it till later, when you have more time? After all it is the same subject as those other books. And then you finally get the time, you ceck it out (just in case), oppen it up, AND YOU LLOOVVEE IT! Harry Potter opened my life up, giving me hope and oppertunity I never had. I lived a lot like Harry, no friends, no hope. I know some giant isn't going to burst through my door and tell me I'm a wizzard and wisk me away to a new world, but his hope, ambition, and making of friends helped me out, and it wii do the same to you. You might be some stockbroker on the floor,(500 shares of Amazon ,now!) a man on the farm, neading time to spend, just no reason to, or some kid, like me, needing hope and insperation. Shure, you don't believe some kid from Montana, but you must trust me, it is good.

Review: Ignore the naysayers and enjoy. This is a pleasure to read. As a "grownup" you'll read it quickly. I recommend an afternoon on the couch, hot tea and this book. Read it in one sitting.

Summary: Ignore the ''muggles'' -- read this book!
Review: Ignore those pathetic, humorless, fearful muggles who want children to be as miserable as they are and RUN, do not walk, to your nearest bookstore or library to get a copy of ''Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone!'' A warning, though: you'll probably have to reserve it if you go to your local library -- ours has about 25 copies of EACH Harry Potter book and they're perpetually all checked out! This is a book to engage a child's imagination, enable her moral development and sense of self-worth, and, for those of us a wee bit older, to return us to a more innocent time in our lives. It's an absolute delight. If you like Harry Potter, try my other favorite childhood book: ''The Phantom Tollbooth'', by Norton Juster. It's about a boy named Milo who finds everything dull and boring until, one day, a mysterious package arrives. On the package is a note: ''To Milo, who has plenty of time....''

Review: Ilove this book because the author really keeps you interested in the book by makeing lots of suspense so you keep reading and keep interested in the book. I also like a lot of magic and mystery. Also the charachters were so interesrting like Hagrid.He's tall and strong like a giant. The charachters sound so real becuse the auther describes the people so well they sound like real poeple.

Review: Imaginative and bright; creative and encouraging, this cleverly written story is pure magic for all ages. Mamalinda, her 15 year old progeny and 92 year old Auntique Bea, all agree that an adventure with Harry has a new twist around every Hogwarts' corridor. The focus on logic, problem solving and learning is refreshing; while the Mundane Muggles are the truly terrifying forces. The writing is inspired, and hopefully Harry Potter won't be reduced to some imagination draining set of movie sequels!
