Summary: WOW!!!!!!!
Review: All I can say is wow. This book transcends age limits. It takes readers to a beautiful fantasy world. Rowling is a master storyteller. The best thing about this book is that there aren't any deep dark meanings hidden within. It's simple and easy reading; not a strain on the noggin.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: All I have is praise for these books! I loved them. I could hardly put them down once I had started them. Rowling is a wonderful author. She writes beautiful, well-developed characters and I love the way that the stories unfolded. You can't help but love Harry and his friends. These book are fun, exciting, and a great read. They make a perfect gift for christmas, birthdays, or whatever. Plus they are great for any age. Not too wordy for kids but will grab even adults attention. I highly recommend these books.

Summary: Deserving of the highest praise!
Review: All I have to say about this book is: WOW! This has been the absolute best book I have EVER read in its genre. J.K. Rowling has created an instant classic. I must say this has been the only book where I have been able to sit and read it twice and recieve the equivalent amount of enjoyment in both sittings. I highly recommend this book to children AND adults alike (being that I am an adult and thoroughly enjoyed this book). The story is written on many levels and it is simple enough for my 11 year old sister to enjoy it, but also reminiscent of youth and so well written that both myself and my 30 something roommate LOVED it (just to prove that adults do love Harry Potter too). We finished the first three books within a week. We are both anxiously waiting for the next installment (book 4). Congrats to Rowling for her outstanding work and HURRY with the next book please! Completely deserving of five stars and more!

Summary: BEST BOOK I EVER READ!!!!!!!
Review: All I know, is I first heard about Harry Potter by an interview with the author in Nickelodeon Magazine. Then, I saw a couple of people reading it. After that, There was not a sight I saw that didn't have the words "Harry Potter" in them. After that, one of my best friends, Jonathon Spitz, had it and loaned it to me. I read it. It was the BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!! I love it! I recommend it to EVERYBODY! Even adults! trust me. you'll love it.

Summary: 30 and love it
Review: All of J.K. Rowlings books were incredible reads. While they are intended for the younger reader she keeps all ages rivited. The books have subtle hints throughout that actually are revealed in the subsequent books. For example when Hagrid lets us know he was expelled from Hogwarts in The Sorcerer's Stone; we find out why in Chamber of Secrets. This series of books allows me to love the character just as much as my 5 year old does because he reminds me of being the awkward preteen and teen that didn't find their niche until magic happened. A dream come true.

Summary: Harry Potter book 1
Review: All of the J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter books are "GREAT". I have read all four and await the publishing of book five. They are a good change of pace. I would let my children read these books with ease. They are not filled with the filth and bad language used in music and school. A good change of pace reading.

Summary: Harry is addictive!
Review: All of this hype about Harry Potter...Harry Potter this, Harry Potter that...well, I wasn't about to sit still until I found out for myself. Wow! Go with the hype, everyone; you WILL NOT be disappointed. Harry Potter is incredible. J.K. Rowling is a genius, a triumph, an author who will be remembered always. What an imagination! You will be hooked once you start. I wasn't even halfway through #1 when I had to go out and buy #2. It's the perfect adventure for those who love to live vicariously. And it's not just for kids. It's for anyone who enjoys fun, lively, entertaining reads, for those who read for pure pleasure. Now, off I go, to read the second installment. And not a moment too soon!

Summary: Not bad at all
Review: All right. Here I am, a Tolkien fan, a Lewis fan, a Mennonite, and I like Harry Potter. I will not say it was the best I've ever read, but I flew through that book like the wind, and now I'm rereading it. I haven't read a new children's fantasy--or any fantasy--this good in ages. The characterization was great, there were good lines, the action was engaging, and the plot twists effectively caught me off guard. Reminds me strongly of Roald Dahl. Read it!

To those who accuse Rowling of encouraging witchcraft, I say LIGHTEN UP! Good grief, if we're gonna throw out "Harry Potter," why not "Chronicles of Narnia" or "The Hobbit?" Even being a conservative Mennonite and attending a well-respected Bible college, I found little wrong with this book's "wizardry." Mixing powders and saying a few nonsense words don't quite equal any kind of dark satanic rituals I know of. Its not like they killed any chickens! :-)

Go ahead and read it. If you don't like it, that's your problem. But I liked "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and am looking forward to buying the rest of the books.

Summary: A life turned upside down!
Review: All right. You've lived all your life with a bunch of thoughtless, self-absorbed people, who apparently took you in after your parent's final car crash. You live in a closet under the stairs, and are constantly being bullied at school by none other that you fat, piggy-eyed cousin named Dudley and his gang. But there is something special about you ( Besides the fact you are forced to wear Dudley's old clothes that are 10 times too big for you), and that is that mysterious scar upon your forehead... But the family's rule is no questions, especially about things that are... well... different and mysterious.
One ordinarily boring day though, a letter arrives for young harry potter. A letter inviting him to go to thew incredible school of witchcraft and wizardry: HOGWARTS. Suddenly, the boys life is turned up side down (all for the best though) and he is taken in a mystical adventure of quidditch, magic, and with the dangerous, feared dark lord of all times. Harry finds out the truth about himself and feels happier than he has ever been... but what happens when the things start to get out of hand?
