Summary: harry potter is the best!!
Review: I read Harry Potter when it first came out. I loved it and recommended it to anyone who wanted to read a great book. I love Harry Potter and think it is the perfect book for children and adults. It takes you to a place that you have never been before. J.K. Rowling really knows what she is doing!!

Summary: I really enjoyed it
Review: I read Harry Potter, an I really enjoyed it. It was extremely well written. I also think that the author did a great job of explaining the setting, and introducing every aspect of the book. I really enjoyed it.

Summary: It was the best book I've ever read!
Review: I read it almost five times. It's really descriptive about Harry's feelings. It's really exciting. I think everyone should read it! (I'm 8 years old).

Summary: Share some QUALITY time with your kids....
Review: I read many of these reviews before I purchased this book, and found the clains hard to believe! Well, I believe them now! This is a wonderful, exciting read for kids and adults! My boys are 8, 10 and 14, I encouraged my oldest to listen in because the reviews were so good. Much to my surprise after we read chapter 3 he came up to me and whispered in my ear, "Can I read ahead"? :-) I told him absolutely NOT, it's a family thing and he would have to wait like the rest of us! :-) He teased as if he were asking to go and hang out with his friends...this can only be a good thing. I did have to take measures; as one other reader suggested, she had to find a good hiding place for the book so there were no cheaters! This is a terrific way to show your kids that reading is for pleasure...not just something you HAVE to do for an assignment at school!

Summary: Big or small - you have to read this!
Review: I read quite a lot of books - I have to because I am doing englich literature at A level. This is one of the best books I have read. I started reading the series, starting with the philosophers stone (what it's called in the UK) on sunday and its now wednesday and I am halfway through the third book, the Prisoner of Azkaban. You may not understand, but it is a very difficult book to put this book down, and I find I am still reading it at 2.30 in the morning even though I have to go to college at 8.30 the next morning! I recommend you read this book just to prove to yourself that you will like it. It doesn't matter how old you are, it's for everyone, trust me. I am 17 and I work as a support teacher in a primary school, and I end up discussing the books (and the film!) with my fellow teachers as well as the students.
I can't say anything more than try it - you might like it. And if you do read it, at least you will find out what a muggle is.
I must warn you though it can get a bit scary at times though!

Summary: For more than the 'tikes
Review: I read that this book was meant for younger children. i happen to b 15 and totally adore this book. i have been going through a withdrawl since finishing the book seeing as i don't have any of the other books in the set to read. i really could not put this book down (which got me in trouble numerous times). This book will satisfy any type of reading prefernce. Totally captivating.

Summary: Better than the movie (& I liked the movie!)
Review: I read the book before seeing the movie for the first time. I found the book to be highly amusing. There are parts that are sad, or happy, or make you think. This book runs you through almost every emotion. The book is much better than the movie. The movie left out some great parts (especially in the end) that I think would have added a special part to the movie that most movies neglect (like the use of logic!).
