Rating: Summary: Awesome Read! Review: I heard about this book in the summer and was going to read it but thought that I might not like it, and then in fourth grade, I read it. I loved it so much that I finished it in one day. I just could not put it down. It is about an 11-year-old boy named Harry Potter who suddenly finds out that he is a wizard. He goes to a magical school called Hogwarts were he learns to be a wizard and makes friends and enemies. The plot moves along very quickly and it has a surprising twist. I would recommend this book to anyone. You have to read it.

Rating: Summary: Soooo much better than expected Review: I heard all about these books in various magazines, and at first was skeptical. Then I got the first book for my sister and decided to read it on a whim. I was wowed. This book was fantastic!! Needless to say I got my sister a different book, but don't tell her that!
Rating: Summary: EXTREMELY WONDERFUL! Review: I heard alot about J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books and decided to check it out for myself. Once I read the jacket of her first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, I knew I'd love it. This book was the first one I have read in a long time and I am glad it was. Today I am going to start Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Maybe I can read this one in 2 sittings (I read the first one in 3). I reccomend this book to anyone who can get their hands on it. It was so very interesting and exciting. You get to know the characters and feel what they're feeling. It is so easy to imagine, or wish, that you could be Harry, Hermoine, or Ron. This book was just so good, too bad we can't play Quidditch. =Þ
Rating: Summary: Great reading for kids of all ages Review: I heard alot about this book from both friends and TV. I bought the book as a birthday gift for my nephew. I read the book myself and loved it. I am much older than the age group the book was written for. I found the characters very interesting and the book difficult to set down. I read the book in less than two days. I would recommend this book for anyone who has an imagination.
Rating: Summary: A great book! Review: I heard of this book from the popular show Rosie . My mom and I are both always interested in most childrens' books. So, we signed on and bought both of the books. This book was fun and fasinating and the Dursleys are perfect example of a set of people most people could grow to hate!
Rating: Summary: A magical book Review: I heard so much about Book 4 in the series through the media, especially the Today Show's Katie Couric, I had to go online and see what the hype was all about. After reading several reviews I decided that I would order all four books and read them in the correct sequence. I am a mother of five-year-old twins and a 12-year-old stepson, and felt that if the books were as good as everyone says, the books could be passed to all of the children in time.Book 2 arrived first and after reading a few chapters I knew right away that I had made a good decision in ordering the set. The other three books arrived a few days later and (though it was hard) I put book 2 down and picked up Book 1. I have just finished Book 1 and I can't wait to get to Book 2 in the series. Any book that gets children out from in front of the television and the computer has to have some merit. I found the book very interesting, hard to put down, and nothing offensive or immoral in the book, keeping in the mind that it is to be read as fiction and not fact. The series, according to reviews, becomes darker in the later books, but this particular book was not dark at all. The names of the people and places are very whimsical and entertaining. J K Rowling's ability for description is amazing.
Rating: Summary: I wish it was real Review: I heard somewhere that they banned this book because it is about witches and weird stuff. Thats like banning Jules Vern or something! This is such a cool book, and it has a lot of stuff that seems like its real too. There is only one thing (or 3) things I dont like about this book. 1. Proffessor Snape (I hope he gets eaten by the 3 headed dog) 2. Draco Malfoy (I hop he falls off a broomstick and dies) 3. This book is too short! I never wanted it too end! Well, at least there will be 6 others (there really will be) too keep me occupied.
Rating: Summary: One of the best books of the millennium! Review: I honestly think this is the best series ever! I own all three books and it's absolutely fantastic. I can read it over and over and still not get tired of it. J.K. Rowling have a real talent for writing books! The Harry Potter books are the best series ever! If you like true fantasy with a twist in everything you can imagine, such as adventure, drama, and even a touch of romance, the Harry Potter series is SERIOUSLY for you.
Rating: Summary: After I read it once I had to read again! Review: I hope they come out with a movie soon! Why can't there be 10 books
