Summary: Very similar to Myth Adventures (Robert Asprin)
Review: I enjoy a good read, especially stories about students of magic. Harry Potter has earned a place on a high pedastal for me. If you like Harry Potter and his magical adventures, I would strongly recommend that you try "Another Fine Myth" by Robert Asprin. It also is a story about a young boy learning magic, with a slightly different twist. Both of these authors provide a delightful read, and I hope they can be enjoyed for a long time to come. (along these lines, adult readers should also consider the Amber novels by Roger Zelazny)

Summary: Harry Potter rocks

Summary: Why this book is good for kids! And not only...
Review: I enjoyed reading this book a lot.I'm an adult and a parent - this book is not only for kids! It's interesting,well-written,with unexpected turns and twists. The language is easy, but there are new vocabulary words(not too many,so there is a chance they'll be looked up).The book has a moral, but it is not preached, rather it flows out as part of the story. Also, because we want to know what else will happen to the heroes in the story, everyone will want to read the next one, thus building an interest in reading.Anyway,it's a good book and a nice investment in your library(and not only for the children).

Summary: Nice Fantasy Book
Review: I enjoyed reading this book but don't see what all the hype is about and why it has been so popular. It is very easy and fun to read. I am 15 year old avid fantasy reader. Thank you for reading my review.

Summary: A great story for children of all ages
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, and 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets', with my daughter. She enjoyed it so much, we read two chapters together every night until we finished the entire book. The story of Harry and the heroic adventures that he was thrust into kept us looking forward to the next day's two chapters. I highly recomend this book and look forward to the next book's about Harry's adventures.

Summary: Wonderful children's book, but......
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, but I fail to see how it can quite reach #4 (or thereabouts) in the Millennium pole. JK Rowling's writing reminds me of Enid Blyton's (a favourite of mine when I was a child). Older readers should look elsewhere for more meaty reading satisfaction (any of the SF classics should do the trick).

Having said that, am happy that children are turning to books because of Mr. Potter!

Summary: The Best Book I've Ever Read
Review: I enjoyed reading this book. It was great and I had a hard time puting it down. Stayed up past my 11:00 pm one night reading it. My mom was not happy about that.

Summary: Entertaining Fantasy
Review: I enjoyed the movie so much, I really wanted to read the book. I was very surprised the movie stayed true to the book. Of course, there are a few events in the book that did not make it in to the film. I found the book very entertaining and easy to read. I can see why so many children - and adults - are reading the Harry Potter series. Its a fun, easy read with interesting characters and events.

Summary: wonderful
Review: I enjoyed this book almost as much as my children did. Undersized, bullied and generally downtrodden Harry Potter is actually a wizard and a famous one too! His first year at wizard school, especially the breath-taking quidditch matches make for edge-of-the-seat reading. All this said, if you grew up reading Diana Wynne Jones (Charmed Life, Eight Days of Luke, Magicians of Caprona and others),as I did, you'd say a lot of it's been done before and done a bit better. Hence the four stars. But I'm still among the first in line for each sequel.

Summary: This was the best book that I have ever read!!!
Review: I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading the next Harry Potter story. I hope that there will be a third one. I liked all the characters in the story and my best was Harry. Hermoine Granger was the cleverest of all the children in Hogwarts and only once got in trouble. Ron Weasley was the youngest in his family. He had a massive family, not including the ones that have left Hogwarts. Ron always got Harry,Hermoine and Neville into trouble. Neville was the most afraid person in Hogwarts. He never used to take any chances and always used to cry when his pet frog went missing.
