Rating: Summary: The best book with interesting and exciting elements Review: Harry Potter that¡¦s the name of the inborn wizard, and is the name brand on my heart. The story is amazing, with such an extraordinary imagination. I do think that J.K. Rowling must have found herself in a magic-filled world. Plots, especially for the description of Quidditch playing, are carefully inter-mingled together to arrest the interest of the readers. The characters are portrayed in a picturesque and lifelike manner, making the story even more convincing. After I started to read the book for some pages, I felt that the book could not be put down. I had to read it page-after-page without rest. That¡¦s the first time for me to be so enthusiastic at reading a book. I finished it in two days nearly without rest. Just after I finished, I rushed down the street to look for the second volume of the series. That¡¦s the most ¡¥crazy¡¦ time in my life. Luckily, I just bought the other two books¡Xvol.2 and 3 on time (the two books were almost the lasts in the bookstore). I again used two days for each book. I just don¡¦t know how to describe it, which are fantastic. The series ¡¥Harry Potter¡¦ is definitely the best books I have ever read. I heartily am looking forward to the following volumes.
Rating: Summary: I was really surprised!!! Review: Harry Potter this, Harry Potter that. That was all I heard about so I decided to try it for myself. Boy was I in for a big shock. I actually liked it! Harry Potter is a little boy that survived when his parents got killed. He was sent to live with his aunt and uncle. They treated him like he wasn't even there. Mysterious letters started arriving but the most mysterious thing happens on Harry's eleventh birthday. A giant named Hagrid comes to visit Harry. He told Harry all about his "people" Harry got accepted into wizardry shool. Thats where Harry's adventure begins. He has two close buddies with him on his search to find the secret behind the trapdoor that a very vicious beast is gaurding. You have to read this book. You can't miss out on all the fun!
Rating: Summary: Much better than I expected Review: Harry Potter thought he had a fairly normal life (aside from living with his aunt and uncle who hated him), but he was very wrong. On his 11th birthday he learned that he was a wizard and had been invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Suddenly, Harry is plunged into an entirely new world of magic. At Hogwarts Harry has friends for the first time in his life. Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger are his best friends at the school and they are the ones who help Harry through all of his troubles. From the very beginning though, Harry is slightly aware of something strange going on at Hogwarts. Harry pieces together the mystery slowly throughout the school year in while he isn't busy working on schoolwork or Quidditch (a magical game played on broomsticks). My favorite part about this book was the world that J.K. Rowling created. While it would have been easy for her to just set the story in a school where the kids learn magic, she didn't. Things like Diagon Alley, which is where all of the students go to get school supplies, allow her to add so much more to the magic world just through descriptions of things Harry sees. Quidditch also makes the world seem much more real. I originally read this book because I needed a young adult book for class, but I ended up enjoying it far more than I thought I would. I can't remember the last time I actually read much outside of school, but after reading this book I read the other three and am now anxiously awaiting the fifth book. I would recommend this book to pretty much anyone. It's obvious that it was aimed at younger readers, but I found I enjoyed it as much at 17 as my sister did at 11.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter Series Review: Harry Potter used to live a somewhat normal life with his Aunt Petuna, Uncle Vernon, and his devilish cousin, Dudley. His Parents died in a "car crash" when he was only a baby. At the age of ten Harry was told by a giant, named Hagrid, that he was a wizard. Hagrid said Harry would begin school at Hogwarts (a school for young witches and wizards). The ways of life start to change for Potter. He would discover magical creatures, beings, and objects. Of course he would give a little pay back to his hosting family. Harry gains friends and enemies at Hogwarts who know more about him than he knows himself. A short tempered boy, named Ron, and a smarty pants girl, named Hermione become Potter's long life friends. No hearted boys named Draco Malfoy, Crab, and Goyle become his life long enemies. Harry's life becomes a whole mysterious adventure from then on in. J.K. Rowling's imagination is so great it leaves me in awe. Not only is the first book good and full of surprises, the second and third are even more enchanting.
Rating: Summary: Harry potter rocks Review: Harry potter was a good book. When i first thought what book I wanted to read for this class, I thought I need a book that will keep me interested because I hate to read, thats why I chose harry potter. Harry potter was a detailed bool. I could picture the characters just by how the author wrote it. Her creativity and ideas were a great show in my imagination. Another reason I enjoyed this book is, it wasen't long in the story line, but it was long enough for me and other readers to stay glued to our seats and keep on reading. In conclusion I would Strongly recommend harry potter to other people like me.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter, a great childrens book Review: Harry Potter was a great book for the children. The incredible imagination of J.K. Rowlings gives this book a great fantasy spin to it. The way that J.K. Rowlings words this great story makes it more interesting. The characters of the story were absolutly great. I can't think of a way to improve this book for children. This book is not only great for kids, it's good for the kid inside everyone. I would recomend this book to anyone with a taste for adventure and fantasy.

Rating: Summary: Excelent, Exciting, Entertaining. Review: Harry Potter was a great book. l liked it so much because of several reasons. One of these reasons was that it kept me entertained from cover to cover. There was not one chapter of the book that was slightly boring at all. Another reason why l liked it so much was because there were ideas in it that were completely new to me. These ideas lead me to want and read more and to get interested and inolved with the book. The crazy ideas were the names of the characters, the postal services and techniques used to create specfic potions. l also found the book very interesting. Harry Potter interested me because l could relate to a lot of his emotions. For instance, he grew up with his aunt and uncle and they did not like him at all. l am sure that thousands of people who read this book can relate to him and his emotions and that is why they like the book so much. That is why l think that Harry Potter is such a good novel.
