Rating: Summary: A satisfied customer Review: Harry Potter is an original. J.K. Rowling uses fitional magic and common school dillemas for a book that's great for almost everyone. The story is about an eleven year-old boy who lives with his "muggle" Aunt and Uncle and his piggy cousin Dudley. He doesn't know he is a wizard until mysterious letters come to his house. When he finally gets his letter to go to Hogwarts, the school for Witchcraft and Magic, he worries about the common question, "Will anyone like me?" He discovers that he is famous in the wizarding world, which makes things stranger still. I thought that it was a great book and could not put it down. I have read the book five times and I am working on the sixth time. I would recommend it highly for a birthday or christmas present. This book is great for anyone and everyone on your list!

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter can be for adults and their children. Review: Harry Potter is an orphan as the dark wizard killed his parent, His was sent to his Uncle¡¦s House, but was isolated in a cupboard under the staircase for his past eleven years. One upon a day after Harry growing up, a letter of Hogwart School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to invite him to attend the school, this ignited the life of wizard of Harry. You will think it is a book with happiness and fantasy after seeing the film of ¡§the Sorcerer¡¦s Stone¡¨. Not only it can make you laugh, can also be a teaching material of primary children. It¡¦s not a book that only talks about mystery. Through others¡¦ review of this book, I notice that there may be some Christians do not like this kind of books, which contain wizard and witchcraft. For me, a storybook that includes religious content is irrelevant to the one that has a particular religion. If we can separate out the actual side and virtual side of the book, or to treat the book as only a story, I ensure you could find the fun out of the book.
Rating: Summary: I couldn't put this book down! Review: Harry Potter is an orphan who turns into a wizard. What I liked about this book is the magic. I can hardly wait until the next Harry Potter book comes out.
Rating: Summary: This book is easily the best book ever written!! Review: Harry Potter is brilliant. The wholloping adventures at Hogwarts and the ghastly humor of the Dursleys is enough to make this book a favorite, but who'd imagine a first year wizard playing Quidditch or for Harry to become friends with the genius snob, Hermione Granger. I prayed that Harry would leave his Muggle, or human, family and was cheering on Harry at his little meeting with the evil, dark wizard, Voldemort. The writing was ingenius and had the quality of Dahl or Tolkien. This gem should be read by everyone. Whether someone reads it to you or you're 100 years old, this will be a long time classic!!
Rating: Summary: THE FIRST INSTALLMENT IN THE MAGICAL HARRY POTTER SERIES Review: Harry Potter is but a small boy living with his wretched relatives, The Dursleys, until the day he discovers he is a wizard in training! He will make new friends and enemies at his new school, Hogwarts{School for witches and wizards in training}. He will play quiditch, go head to head with a troll, and many more perils at his first year at Hogwarts. I was a bit skeptic about this series of books, but after reading all 3, I developed a liking for them. So, for those of you who say Harry Potter is for "babies", you are wrong. But, anyways, a real good book. Fantasy readers will enjoy it.
Rating: Summary: A charming book even for.... teens? Review: Harry Potter is Charming, magical, full of dark secrets, and learning the wretched truth. I'm 15 and I must admit that when I first got Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's stone from my grandma, I judged a book by its cover. Now I know better. "Ha, it looks like a childrens book!" I said to myself. But then I started reading it (Since I was bored) and really enjoyed it! Not all teenagers will like these books unfortunatly, but im proud to say im into mythical and magical books and things, witchcraft and wizardry! Enjoy!
