Rating: Summary: Harry Potter, a kids point of view Review: I am 12 years of age and have always (well from the point of 3 years old and on) known the truth between fact and fantasy and the same for so many of the kids i baby sit and/or know. in fact every kid i know, knows the difference between real and fake. they usually learn about the first holloween that they will probably remember. about age four and up, so what is the problem, i ask, with kids who are old enough to read or be read (long chapter novels) to not know the difference, annd perhaps a couple children may think what they are hearing or reading is real, there is no way the can preform that kind of magic or evil, and they also realize that everything turns out great. My next quetion is why should a harry potter book be out-lawed when it can be a lot less scarier then any PG rated tv shows or movies, face the facts i saw, even in my point of view there is nothing wrong with the books, infact they are some of the best i have ever read and i read about 2 books per week. if your really word about vilence and such, watch your own actions and what you allow your kids to watch. that could make a big difference in there safety, as well as yours. I Hope you really listened to what i just wrote because i lot of what i just said is very true, and if some adults or kids my age had half of the common sense i do i would not have to write this essay (commentary) in the first place.!!!
Rating: Summary: THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Review: I am 15, and I love these books to death! The third one is sogreat! Keeps you right on the edge of your seat. Thanks so much JK Rowling, for telling the world of Harry Potter.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter is an awesome book! Review: i am 16 and i have to say that this book tells one of the best fantasy stories i have ever read. I didn't start reading them until about a month ago, but once i had, i couldn't put them down and ended up finishing all three in about a week. i can't wait to find out what happens to harry during his fourth year at hogwarts. I think that one of the reasons this book is so popular is because every kid (or adult) can relate to something about harry. Whether it is his horrible family, his dark past, his dreams to escape, or just his being a kid, everyone can find something. After reading these books, you can't help but imagine what it would be like to receive a letter from hogwarts by owl post saying that you possessed magical powers and would you please buy the following supplies at diagon alley? i think that adding a little more depth to each character with each new book makes it a little more suspenseful and fun. these books are guaranteed to make you laugh and wish it were you! i highly reccommend all of the harry potter books, especially the third one, with one warning: once you start reading, you won't be able to put the book down. i can hardly wait to find out what happens in the fourth book!
Rating: Summary: one of the best books i've ever read! Review: i am 16 years old, and i started reading the harry potter series when my 10-year old sister got all three for her birthday. i don't think i have ever read a better "children" series--i really couldn't put them down, especially the third one, which i read twice to catch anything i had missed the first time. these stories have no age limits -- anyone can read them and enjoy themselves completely. my compliments to J. K. Rowlings. the whole idea of hogwarts, the pictures that can talk and move, the magical creatures, hagrid, and of course, ron and hermione is just so cool. This book just makes everyone imagine what it would be like to get a letter (by owl post of course) saying that you possessed magical powers and telling you to go to diagon alley to buy your wizard supplies. i thought that the third one was the best so far--so many unexpected things happened that it was too exciting to put down. this is the best series i have ever read adn i can't wait for the fourth one to come out!

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3) Review: I AM 26 YEARS OLD AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK. I HAVE READ ALL OF THE BOOKS IN THE SERIES, BUT THIS ONE I HAD TO STAY UP ALL NIGHT TO FINISH. I JUST COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. THE AUTHOR IS A CREATIVE GENIOUS. Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC read for someone of ANY age Review: I am 27 years old and I have loved all three books in the Harry Potter series. I've enjoyed watching Harry grow in each of the three books. I read these books and just delight in Rowlings characterizations and imagination. I got this book for Christmas this year and yesterday was the first time I had to sit down and start reading. I couldn't go to bed until I finished the book. I read these books and I think how I can't wait to share Harry and his friends with my children someday. I think of how disappointed I'll be when the series ends, because already, I feel like I visit with old friends when I pick up these books. My thanks go out to J.K. Rowling for sharing her wonderful gift with the world. I recommend this book to anyone of any age, it is garenteed not to disappoint!
Rating: Summary: Absolutely engrossing & entertaining! Review: I am 30 years old and don't have any kids, but looked forward to reading this latest Harry Potter book so much that I bought a copy while I was recently in London. This book (along with the first two) are lots of fun and extremely entertaining for readers of any age. J.K. Rowling's story and character development keeps getting better and better with each new installment. The clever and intricate plot keeps you guessing until the very end!
