Summary: Suspense, fantasy, twists, turns, and full of trouble! :)
Review: Harry Potter, a third year wizard, is yet again going off to school at Hogwarts where something he least expects happens. There's a man named Sirus Black, and everyone says he's out to get Harry. For Harry this means no trip to Hogsmead, a town with a joke shop, candy store, a bar (with the best non-alcoholic butterbeer), and a haunted house. There are 2 new teachers one is a fortune telling teacher who says a weird black dog will haunt Harry, and it does! Also a Professor Lupin who teaches defense against the dark arts, and everyone thinks is so cool! But there are also these black hooded dementors that remind Harry of his mother's death every time he sees them! What will Harry do? What's going on with Sirus Black? Find out when you read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!:)

Summary: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Review: Harry Potter, a thirteen year old wizard in his 3rd year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, has a horrible life living with the Dursleys. Till one day his "Aunt Marge" comes and visits and accidently explodes her because she insults Harry's family. He runs away from the Dursleys, leaving poor Aunt Marge inflated waiting to explode, to scared to be caught by the Ministry of Magic. He then runs into the Knight Bus and is taken to Diagon Alley where he bumps into the Ministry of Magic himself. He then finds out that a convicted murderer has escaped from Azkaban Prison, wizard prison, and is looking for Harry to kill him, or is he.
My favorite part of this wonderful book is when Harry finally meets his godfather, Sirius Black, and Harry finds out what really happened between Harry's parents and Lord Voldemort, He- Who- Must-Not- Be- Named. It's my favorite part because Harry now has a family member that really is something HE is. Also, bacause Harry knows what Ron's rat, who really is a wizard Animagus, Peter Pettigrew, did to Harry's parents. He betrayed his parents and he also killed 13 people with one single spell. He cut off his index finger before he turned into a rat and went into the sewer with the other rats.
What I liked about the book was that it had a lot of dangerous things that any thirteen year old might not do. I like it because it has magic and magic has mystical adventure. A lot of Magic books aren't as exciting as this book. Like the Lord of the Rings sequels, Harry Potter books are great, to me, because they have one thing some other books don't have, personal experiences that a lot of children might have. For example: Harry's parents died, whereas one of my friends parents both died, too. Another one: Harry has an arch enemy, whereas we all have arch enemies. I would love to become an author just like J.K. Rowling.

Summary: Harry Potter, a young wizard-in-training, is back at Hogwart
Review: Harry Potter, a young wizard-in-training, is back at Hogwarts again! Hogwarts is no ordinary school though. Strange things begin to happen there. People are frozen in shock, and terrifying pasts are revealed. To find out who is causing the chaos, Harry and his two best friends are back to solving another mystery. With Hermoine's intelligence, Harry's courage, and Ron's loyalty, they believe they can reveal the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets.

Summary: Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban Book 3
Review: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley return to take on the dreaded escapee from Azkaban prison in Book 3. It is believed that the escaped convict, Sirius Black, is looking for Harry in order to kill him. More is revealed about the circumstances surrounding the murder of Harry's parents, James and Lily Potter, as Harry learns the real truth.

A new character is introduced, Professor Lupin, who teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts and turns out to be the best teacher for the subject the school has ever had. Professor Lupin befriends Harry and teaches him an advanced wizarding spell that will drive away a Dementor. The Dementor's are the guards at the Azkaban prison who have been dispatched to Hogwarts school in the event the escaped prisoner should attempt to get to Harry while he is there.

The Professor who taught Care of Magical Creatures has retired and Hagrid has been given the job much to the enjoyment of the students.

The Quidditch matches are enormously exciting! Don't want to give anything away but...

Ms. Rowling bested herself with this third book in the series. The characters are well developed and the plot keeps the reader enthralled until the last page. Absolutely excellent for "children" of any age!

Summary: Can't Get Enough of that Harry
Review: Harry Potter, his friends, and enemies have fascinated my seven and nine year old children through all three books, which I have read to them. They aren't adept enough to read the books themselves, but hang on every word, delighting in the gripping adventures of Harry, Ron and Hermione. The strategies of Quidditch, played on flying broomsticks, with four balls and seven players, is no mystery to my soccer players, who want their own "Firebolts" for Christmas. The diversity and ingenuity of the characters, plot and situations kept all of us excitedly flipping pages.

The slide from the normal world of "Muggles" in contemporary England to the magical world of wizards at Hogwarts is great fun. Although the complexity of vocabulary sometimes requires a definition or two, my children follow the action with rapt attention, gasping, laughing and even clapping where appropriate.

My junior critics' only complaint is that Book Four in the series has not yet been published and they brainstorm together, wondering what magical creatures will next appear, who the next Professor of Dark Arts will be, and what will Harry's nemesis Draco Malfoy and his gang try next to sabotage their lives.

They enjoy the illustrations, particularly the book jackets, and watch for the introduction into the story of each illustrated element. I confess they I'm as caught in J.K. Rowling as they are. I haven't had so much fun since I first went to Frank Baum's Oz and J.R.R. Tolkien's world.

Summary: Most Everybody
Review: Harry Potter, how many people have read the Harry Potter books? Most everybody. Harry Potter and the Prisiner of Azkaban is about Harry's third year in wizarding school. He descovers his parents best friend was acually there enemy. But I am not going to say anything else because I am going to give away the end, and that's never fun! So I will tell you what I think of it. At first I thought Harry Potter did not look good for me that it looked like a book for a six year old but after I read it I never missed another book. I am not going to tell you "you must buy this or else" all I am going to tell you is from the very first book "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" to "Harry Potter and the Prisinor of Azkaban" all of them are very good books!

I'll leave it to you to find out who he/she is. This book will capture your worries and fling them out the window! I give this book five stars and above!
