Summary: ANOTHER GREAT BOOK IN THE HARRY POTTER SERIES
Review: The first Harry Potter Book was awesome. The second was amazing... but it just keeps getting better and better. This book has so many twist and turns, that its just amazing. I have read this book over 18 times and still plan to read it more. J. K. Rowling has a great sense of word style and her books flow so smoothly. This book is about Harry Potter's third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At school he attends classes such as: Defense Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, Potions, Transfiguration, and all other sorts of magical classes. And once again something dangerous is happening around him. Who is this Sirius Black? and what does he want with Harry? Why is Scabbers so thin? Why is Crookshanks always chasing Scabbers? Who is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher anyways?
This book is a must have for all ages. I am still patiently awaiting book number six.

Summary: the best book in the world!!!!!!!!!
Review: The first Harry Potter book was good, the second one was Okay, but this one was by far the best! I've read it 8 times already and I'mstill not tired of it! Maybe I'm not exited about the first two because I read the first one 16 times and the second one 15 times. In this one, every little detail makes you think of many possibilities, but the real outcome is what you would have least expected. Of course J.K. Rowling's books have always been like that, but it still was a suprise. I also thought Harry should have lived with Sirus Black, but I suppose it would be boring that way. Since I am probbably not going to write again, I am looking forward to the fourth Harry Potter mostly because the Gryfindor quidditch captain Wood is goooooonnnne. I also would like to know how Harry is going to get his spell books for his next year at Hogwarts. This truely is the best book in the world. I usually don't like to read, but this is an exeption. And on the chapter Snape's Grudge, that is a typo. If you want an odd and exiting book, Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban is the book for you!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Best of the four books...
Review: The first one was soooo good. The second was good, but it didn't feel like a full book, more like a half. The fourth would be the best if not for this gem here....

There are some new characters, ones that will surely be a factor in the upcoming books. Lupin, a character I really like, is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts (DADA for short) teacher. Cho Chang is a girl 1 year older than Harry, and is steadily getting his attention. Cedric Diggory is the clean-cut, handsome, do-gooder than Harry and his friends don't like. And of course, Sirius Black is the traitor of Harry's parents, and fugitive from Azkaban.

Harry Potter is finally becoming a great novel, and after this book, few people will truly think this is a kid's book. It's a novel for everybody with elements that every kid fanatasizes about when they're a kid. That's why adults love it. They remember the times when they wish they could cast magic, live in a big castle with very interesting things with their best friends....

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - the book that'll become known as the one that took Harry Potter out of kidland and put it among the greatest series of books in literature. Also has great new characters that you feel for. Has the most exciting, climatic, and thoughtful ending of any of the four books....

Summary: This book is too long, too convoluted and too dour.
Review: The first two "Harry Potter" books were splendid. They had heart, warmth and imagination to spare. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" starts out well, but it goes downhill in the second half. Rowling is too busy with a very complicated plot to inject the humor and the warmth into this book that made the first two books so delightful. The book should have been shorter by at least seventy-five pages. It drags in the last quarter and the ending is much too plot-oriented. The whimsical characters of the last book, such as Moaning Myrtle and the house elf who keeps beating himself up (Dobbie, I think his name was), are missing here and there are no new characters in this book to equal them. Rowling had mentioned in an interview that she wanted to explore darker themes in her later books, but I think that she is going too far in that direction.

Summary: This is an incredible book that was tough to put down!!!!!
Review: The first two books of the Harry Potter series were unbelivable and this book is no exception. This book has a bunch of twist and turns and all of the unexpected. If you love a great book, this is the book to read. Just make sure you read the first two books or you will have no clue of what is going on.

Summary: The Prisoner of Azkaban - These books get better & better!
Review: The first two Harry Potter books were so very good that I didn't imagine they could be topped. I would have been happy with a book of the same calibre, but the Prisoner of Azkaban is even better! I don't know how J.K. Rowlings does it, her imagination is unbelievable. I read AmazonUK.com's interview with her and one of the questions was, "Will you ever write books for adults?" Well, who ever came up with that question has never read her books. Harry Potter is as much for adults as for children. The wonderful thing about them is that they appeal to and can be enjoyed by all ages. What a treat for parents and children to be able to share a book together!

Summary: The Harry Potter saga gets more exciting
Review: The first two parts were very nice, especially for children. This part, however, has got some actual suspense. A dangerous killer is on the loose and he's after Harry! The ministry of Magic tries to protect him, but Harry wouldn't be Harry if he didn't try to figure out what's going on himself, thereby even engaging in time travel.

Summary: excellent!!!!
Review: the first two were good. this one is head & shoulders better than first two & i didn't think that was possible. the plot twists were remarkable. the ending really gives you something to think about. i'm afraid that now rawlings won't be able to keep up to standard. i'm eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Summary: J.K. Rowling has done it again!
Review: The first two were wonderful, and this is just as good! In this story, the school finally gets a good Defense Against Dark Arts teacher. This book is filled with surprises. However, this time there is one suspect until the end. His name is Sirius Black. This book is filled with many surprises, but is scarier than the first two. (until near the end)

In every book it seems like you learn more and more about the night Harry's parents were killed. In this book you get loads of information about that night. I can't wait for the fourth book.
