Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best Book of the Year
Review: If you like reading fantasy books and you enjoy a great deal of suspense, then I highly reccommend this book. J. K. Rowling has made reading the entire Harry Potter series a most exciting adventure. I especially liked this perticular book the best, however. It is filled with intensifying mystery as well as unforgetable characters. I am fifteen and I know people of all ages who have read this book and who have also liked it just as much I have.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Just Finished It Yesterday & I Have Some Thoughts
Review: If you liked the first two books, you should go out right now and buy this one. I won't retell the story, but it is well written and you will find it hard to put it down once you start reading.

So why the 4 instead of the 5 rating? I'm comparing this book with the first two. There isn't as much action in this book. Things really don't start to pick up until the last 100 pages and then most of what we learn is a surprise. We all like surprises and all of the things we tend to gloss over when we read make sense in the end. The story finishes in a well written climax.

As a whole, the cast of Potter characters continue to develop nicely. And you will find that Professor Lupin is a great addition to the cast.

If you like Harry Potter, you'll like this book. Pick it up and read it all in one day.

Summary: Harry Potter is the best book you'll read all year!
Review: If you read only 3 books all year make them be the Harry Potter books. Rowling writes about Harry as if she was there throughout all his adventures. Your imaginiation runs wild and you can picture every move Harry makes as if you were right there with him. It's a MUST READ series.

Summary: The Surprise
Review: If you read this book, a sneaky surprise will be waiting for you at the end. It gives you thrills and chills. Everyone seems suspicous? Will you know who the suspect is?

Summary: A new twist on every page
Review: If you've never read any of the Harry Potter books and you are going to read one and your not planning on reading all four, even though it isn't the beggining, i'd suggest starting with the third Harry Potter book. The reason for this is that in the first book you pretty much just learn about Harry and that's great for the first book in a series but unless your more of a "get to know the characters kind of person" (like i am) it might not get you hooked. and in the second book, there is alot of rumors going on at the school that you might not know if they are true or not because you haven't read the first book. but in the third book, although there are things from the first two books, the story revolves around new things and people mostly such as dementors, professor moody, and sirius black(who if you have read the first book carefully actually is mentioned in the first chapter of harry potter and the sorcer's stone but only in one sentence.)another reason to read it is that it changes topics rapidly (for those who don't like a sluggish story) and starts making you believe something in the story that there seems no way for it to be wrong, then on the next page you find that there was some sort of loophole to make it possible for it to be not true.and lastly it shows a way for so many people to be focusing on one thing and saying that they for sure have it figured out and they never realize they saw the evidence that they are wrong with their own eyes. if you like rapidly moving stories that still give great detail, i suggest buying Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Summary: Wonderful, magical fantasy
Review: If you've read the first two Harry Potter's you'll love this one just as much. Harry is the same wonderful quirky boy he was in the first two and Rowling's imagination doesn't disappoint.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Inventive and entertaining for everyone.
Review: If your 6, 16, 36 or 66 years old you will find this book as inventive and entertaining as any. The third in Harry's saga, this book contains elements that make this book a classic. The characters are particularly interesting, including Harry himself, who in facing the reality of his parents' violent deaths becomes a stronger person and a more complex hero for us. For all children young and old, summer vacations and winter vacations are something to look forward to by picking up this book up with the family reading and enjoying its adventures.

Summary: Another Suspenseful and Exciting book by J.K. Rowling
Review: Imagine waking up one morning in Hogwarts, the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and going to your first class of divinitation. Who'd be your teacher? What would you learn? Well, this is exactly how Harry Potter felt when he was starting his third year at Hogwarts.

In this magical fantasy novel, J.K.Rowling takes you on another of Harry Potter's thrilling adventures in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This story begins when Harry meets his friends, Hermione and Ron, in Diagon Alley, a marketplace for wizards in London, England. All three of them went to the train station and left for Hogwarts, the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When they arrived they were informed that their friend, Hagrid, the school gamekeeper, was becoming the new professor for the course: Care of Magical Creatures.

The story begins to unfold when a student is injured in Hagrid's first class by one of his magical creatures. Because of this injury, the students' father took Hagrid to court. Unfortunately the court found him guilty and his creature was sentenced to be executed. While this is taking place another plot is developing. Sirius Black, has escaped from the Azkaban prison. He came out from hiding and was caught by the Azkaban guards. It's up to Harry and Hermione to save their magical creature friend'

The beginning of the novel was really boring because there were no exciting events. The characters that J.K.Rowling describes at this part of the novel, such as Harry's Aunt and Uncle, were very mean and ordinary people that you would probably find in almost every family. But while the beginnings are slow, don't stop reading. I can assure you that all her novels get much better when you're about halfway through. J.K.Rowling has written four books and I encourage you to read them all.
