Rating: Summary: Best so Far Review: I've only read the other 2 first book and just finished this one yesterday. Even if the story is somewhat repetitive in the way it begins, and drags on a little bit, i loved how dark the story got. As harry grows more mature he is faced with more and more danger. There are a few plots going on at the same time but everything comes together at the end.Rowling does a great job at writing the suspense of the last 70 pages which will keep you on the edge of your seat. There are so many things going on, so many things you learn that you'll will be unable to put the book down until you reach the end. I really like the style of the author which is easy to read yet not childish. It fits both adults and kids alike. I was not a reader at all as a child but if harry potter had been around i would definitly have become a fan. It's great to enter this world of witches and wizzards that's totally fantastic, yet you can find something in common with each characters. The atmosphere of the book, the relationships between the kids along with the plot is a great package of entertainment that really takes you away to another world. Can't wait to read the next 2 books.
Rating: Summary: This one is the best. Review: I've read all of the installemts so far (including Year 5) and Year 3 is by far the best. I can't say much about what makes this one the best, I don't want to give it away! I highly recommend that you get this book and discover each and every event, big and small, as the story unfolds. This story holds some very exciting secrets....so much so that it's hard to keep your eyes from jumping ahead on the page. Don't forget to read the books that precede this one. There is more to enjoy by reading the first books. Follow this one up with books 4 and 5. The story continues in great style.
Rating: Summary: This was the best of Potter's 3 books. I'm looking for 4. Review: I've read all the Harry Potter books and thought this ws the best. Each seems to set the stage for the next. This author has a great imagination. My whole neighborhood is addicted.
Rating: Summary: Never Feel Bored Book-Harry Potter (Book 3) Review: I've read all the Harry Potter series. I though ¡§Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban¡¨ was the best one, although I loved every one of them. It's fantastic and one of the most loved books though out the world. It's excellent of taking children and adults to the world of imagination. I won't give the plot away, but the scene in the shack towards the end makes me cry. I almost was brought to tear at the end when Harry realized he was not alone and finally had a connection to his parents, and that he now had a sense of just who James and Lily were. Sirius Black is one of my favorite characters besides Harry and Hermione. Harry found out that Sirius was his Godfather who he held for twelve long years in the dread fortress of Azkaban. He was convicted of killing thirteen people with on single little curse. Sirius has escaped and left only two clues for them to find him. So,I like the most about this book is that it had me wondering why Sirius wanted to kill Harry. This book is absolutely brilliant from first page to last. The characters are defined in more detail and I loved the fact that we can finely understand about Harry¡¦s past and desires. I've read it twice and I can read it over and over without getting bored, so I suggest the Harry Potter books to every one! I hope that the rest of the books are this good!
Rating: Summary: You can't put this book down, it's great!! Review: I've read all three books, years one through 3 and each is better than the last. They are really great mystery stories, you never know what is going to happen next. It is a classic story of good versus evil, of the meak over coming hardship to triumph over life's troubles. I loved all of J.K. Rowling's books and I hope she writes many more!! Don't strat reading one if you aren't planning to finish, you are driven to keep reading until you see Harry out of danger!!
Rating: Summary: The best in the series! Review: I've read all three Harry Potter books, and this is the best by far! It has more magical creatures and mishaps than ever before, and Harry has more problems and puzzles to figure out than he can handle.
Rating: Summary: Best Book I've Ever Read by far! Review: I've read alot of classic books, and this one is the best book I've read. It has action, excitement, a bit of humor, and never slows down. I've stayed up for two hours past my bedtime reading it. It's so exciting I could never put it down. All of the Harry Potter books are great and I highly recommend them to any reader out there.
Rating: Summary: IT'S THE BEST BOOK YOU'LL EVER READ!!!!!!!! Review: I've read millions of books and HARRY POTTER is da'bomb. With mysteries, action, and even some drama in it, YOU'LL think it is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The book was way below average Review: I've read some good books(farenheit 451, Pet Cemetary, A tale of two cities), and then there are the bad ones. This was a bad one. The book would have been beter if it was shorter. After 150-200 pages the rest is mind-numming babble. I would recommend this book to anyone under the age of ten who can't grasp the meaning of a good book. This was probably second worst to The Sorcerors Stone(The best being Chamber of Secrets and it still stunk). It is also all about witchcraft which is against my beliefs and better judgement. I wish my judgement was there when i choose to read this mess. I just wanted too see if it was as bad as the others and it was. DO NOT BUY IT! UNLESS YOU ARE A RAVING LUNATIC.
