Rating: Summary: Great book, but pretty long and dark Review: Our 5th grade class read this book and most of us liked it a lot. Some people thought it was too dark and that Harry got too mad during the book, but we also thought that Harry had lots of cool adventures that made you feel like you were in the action. It was also great how Harry had to really prove himself in this episode. We did think it was a bit long, but not too bad. Most people thought this was the second-best Harry Potter book so far, although one student said this was his favorite ever. We agreed it had the most action and excitement of all the series.
Rating: Summary: If you are a TRUE fan... Review: If you are a TRUE Harry Potter fan, you shouldn't even be here reading this review. Because if you love Harry Potter as much as I do, you'll know that this book is worth it. I went out at midnight to get this book, and waited 3 hours for it. But, you know what?? I don't regret it. This book is awesome, and I think they are gonna get better and better as they go. So, TRUE fans who don't own this book, don't read reviews to see if it's good enough to buy or not. Just BUY IT.
Rating: Summary: Fascism hits Hogwarts Review: As an adult reading the 5th book in the serious, I was struck by the author's approach to subtly introducing fascism to the young, particularly given the current political climates in the world. This is portrayed with the introduction of Professor Umbrage, who takes over Hogwart's and creates her "brown troops" basically from the Slytherin House. This is further developed with Dumbledore, the good and wise headmaster being ejected, and Harry's creation of the "freedom fighters" group. What is concerning about her approach, is the expulsion of Umbrage prior to any serious damage having occurred, unlike what normally happens in the real world. Nevertheless, I believe it was quite clever, and an important issue to teach the young and old.
Rating: Summary: Best One I Read of the 5 Review: This is the best one I have read out of the earlier ones. I say everyone will like it!
Rating: Summary: Words of Gold Review: I must say this is the best book yet, each page was a thrill to read. I read this book while at lunch or on breaks at work, always a welcomed part of my day. I was actually sad when I got end of book, because now it will be a long wait until next book comes out!! Professor Umbridge was a "love to hate her" character. This book took many interesting twists and turns. Harry's connection with Lord Voldemort is further explained.
Rating: Summary: OotP ROCKS! Review: This is by far the best HP book in the series so far! I'm absolutely in love with J.K Rowling's books, and I've already read OotP 5 times since I got it June 20th. There were so many unexpected twists in this book, and it was certainly a lot more "angst-y" than the others, as Harry is growing up, and definitely has a right to be a bit PO'ed. I thought that the new D.A.D.A teacher was absolutely hilarious, but definitely evil. Doom on her. The ending is very good, and despite a certain character dying, it was perfect. I give this infinite stars! LOL...READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: This book was amazing Review: Only a select few books match up to the quality of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The description and intelligence of the novel is amazing, you really need to check it out, if you haven't already.

Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Review: Was so great I just wanted to keep reading and reading it. One of the reasons I really liked this book was because it always made me laugh and it had a lot of adventure. I would definitely recommend this book to people who like fantasy, magic, and adventure. One of my favorite characters is Hermione Granger because shes smart, fearless, and shes not afraid to ask questions, she stands up to people and shes a great friend. One of my favorite moments was when Harry and his friends were being chased room to room by Death eaters its so cool hearing all the enchantments and spells. It was so imaginative how J.K Rowling thought of the characters personalities good and evil.
Rating: Summary: harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Review: Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix by j.K. rowling. is the fifth book in the harry potter seies. This book is by far the book in the series, its exciting, interesting, and it pulls you in as a reader. dumbledore to me is the best a character can be, he makes mistakes, he is powerfull and most of all he is intellegent. My favorite moment in the book is when cracks of spells colliding spell death. Next time your at the library pick up this. i guarantee you, you wont be wasting your time. if you read this book.
