Rating: Summary: Wonderfully written!!! A must Read!:) Review: Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix, is my favourite book from Rowling's Harry Potter series. And is worth all 5 stars.I love how Harry Potter is finally protrayed as teenager..moody, angry, confused. I like how Rowling showed the other side of Harry. Finally in this novel, Dumbledore explains all, everything comes together. Hermione, Ron, Neville, Luna, Ginny, and Harry all team up together to fight at the end, and that is my favourite part. So much happened in this novel. Ron becomes Keeper, they have O.W.LS to write, Harry is having horrible dreams, and feelings, he's facing the threat of expulsion, the new Defense against the arts Teacher tests everyone's limits, and so much more!! Rowling, is an incredible writter and it shows in this novel, it is worth every penny!!!
Rating: Summary: The best so far Review: I got this one within the first month it was out and finished all 800 and some pages of it in less then 4 days. That's how good it is. I couldn't put it down. In my opinion it's the best one yet. Thought I was pissed at a certain sad part of the story it only makes me want to keep reading the series and see how everything plays out. Definitely worth every penny.

Rating: Summary: Thoroughly Enjoyable Review: I like the Harry Potter books, though I only recently got in to them after seeing the two movies. While the first few books are fairly innocent, it's obvious the novels are growing up with Harry himself. This one was much darker than the previous books and scared me quite a bit! The story was interesting, once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I wanted to know what crazy rule Dolores Umbridge was going to instill upon Hogwarts next. Once Harry starts taking private lessons from Professor Snape, the book gets extremely good. After that, I REALLY couldn't put it down! I was slightly disappointed in the ending, it just didn't seem right to me. Overall, great book. While not as great as some of the others, it was definitely a fantastic read. I can't wait for #6!
Rating: Summary: They just keep getting better!! Review: I love the Harry Potter series and it just seems that they are getting better as they go on! The first book was terrific, but as the series progresses the first book seems a little superficial now. I love the web weaving that was done in book 5 and the intricate story line. As always Rowling has given us yet another little tid bit about the relationship between Harry and Voldemort and the secrets behind the death of James and Lily Potter. Professor Umbridge's character added a little humour to the story as well as the other professor's attitude towards her. This book really develops many professor's personalities like McGongall and even Hagrid. The only down side to this book is that I generally get a good feeling after I'm down reading. Harry usually saves the day and everyone is happy and excited. I won't give the storyline away, but the loss of a very special friend was very depressing. I think this was a terrific book and it makes me wonder what's in store for Harry next year!!
Rating: Summary: Dorian's Review of (drum role plz) Harry Potter #5 Review: Humans have always use the term MAGIC to make something seem better than it is, but what would the world be like if there is magic in our world? Rating: Summary: Really Good.. it lets your imagination run wild Review: It doesn't matter what the adults think of this book.... This book was made for the CHILDREN... letting the kids read this book makes their imagination run crazy, and they won't put this book down... Maybe the adults don't have the same imagination as children do. And it also improves the kids ability to read... The adults can read, but they won't have the same imagination as kids do... So this book is a great book for kids to read. I loved it, and I read it in four days. I don't read books this big for so little days. It really is good
Rating: Summary: work in progress Review: I would just like to remind everyone that this book is a work in progress yes many doors in this book were left open and things weren't perfectly clear but there are still 2 more books for J.K. Rowling to wrap it up in. I feel that Joanne it doing a wonderful job with the books. This series would be horrible if she wrapped everything book, it would no longer be a series, it would be more along the lines of the babysitters club. Those books died so fast because each book completly ended and then reopened at the next book. What Joanne was doing, in my opnion, was trying to keep people reading to keep them thinking "Whats gunna happen in the next book" and I belive she has done just that, because I know that I'm am patiently awaiting the writing of the 6th book.while on the topic of "The next book" I enjoying waiting for a good book to come out the longer it takes her to write it the more anxious i get and all that seems to make the book even better, plus it gives her time to perfect the book. written with Respect Love and Pride by Bill Ferguson
Rating: Summary: Ok Review: this bookwas ok. it wasnt the best of the 5 books but it was pretty good. harry is being controlled by his thoughts it is a suspensful and good book.
Rating: Summary: The fifth and LEAST exciting of the series Review: I was one of the excited multitude who preordered this book from Amazon.com. But unlike the previous installments where it took me a few days to consume, this edition took me more than four months to finish! It definitely was NOT hard to put down. While we are introduced to several new characters, and a loathsome new villain(s)in the new Hogwarts DADA teacher & the ministry of magic, the rest of the book was full of episodes where Harry's constantly frustrated at not ever knowing what's going on. The boy who lived is also the boy least or last to know! Hmmm, no wonder he's always mad at someone in this book. Oh well, at least Neville Longbottom gets to see some action here! Well, here's hoping the 6th & 7th installments are better!
