Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Review: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling in my opinion, is a really great book. I loved it even more that all the others put together, and this is the fifth one! I think that this book should be on the number one spot on the bestseller list because it is fun and exciting at the same tine. Harry is still a rule-breaker, and the twins are still ultimate trouble makers. J.K. Rowling hasn't changed the classic theme either! To top it all off, there are even more spells that characters use throughout the book. One of the characters even uses an illegal spell! I am not going to tell who, though. This book is exciting, because Harry gets himself, as usual, into many dangerous, even lethal situations with his friends. These are exciting, because J.K. Rowling makes it have the sense that the characters will not be able to get out, but they do anyway. What also makes this book interesting is the strange dreams Harry is having. You really don't understand, so you read more to try to do so. Someone even dies in this book, but I am not going to tell. You will just have to read it yourself to find out who.
Rating: Summary: World of Harry Potter Review: The magical world of Harry started from the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer¡¯s Stone, grew bigger and bigger, creating Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. This great world will grow more and more, until it reaches the 7th book. This book by J. K. Rowling is so amazing and unbelievable...it¡¯s not hard at all to imagine these amazing story in your head. It just continues to draw more and more pictures about Harry and his friends. Close your eyes and start to go for daydreaming. You will just suck into the book and be with Harry. Normal boy like Harry finds out that he is a wizard and now he is becoming a great wizard through out the Harry Potter series. This book gave me a wonderful dream and imaginations. In this book, a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, named Umbridge, who doesn¡¯t want students to learn magic, and is working for the ministry, Ron becoming a keeper of Gryffindor Quidditch team. Harry falls in love with Cho Chang (a Chinese girl who Harry liked for ages), the evil plans that return of Voldemort is bringing, forming of Dumbledore¡¯s Army, dying of Harry¡¯s most favorite person and even more. In 5 hours, you will be infected by world of Harry Potter. I, and every Harry Potter fans, will wish the next book to come out soon.
Rating: Summary: Harry Potters best book Review: This is the fith year at hogwarts for fifteen year old harry potter. He is faced with so many emotions, new advetures and problems. I love all of the harry potter books. I like how j.k rowling giuds you through the books fast and smoothly. This is my second favorite book in the series because it brings all the books together. It tells you things you didn't know from the first book. i cant tell you why because it'll ruin the fun in reading it. I like the way she structures the books. How all of the books start out in the summer with the Dursley's, then they all go into the school year, and the book ends at the end of the school year. Basically all of the books are structured the same there are just different problems, events, and adventures. It you want a fast ready book that you never want to put down, READ THIS BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix Review: J.K Rowling's Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix is an exhilerating and magical adventure. The fifth book of the seven-part tale of Harry Potter's adventures is the most magical one yet. This book, for middle-school and high-school aged students, will make you never want to stop reading it. (Even if it is really late and everyone is yelling at you to "Turn off the lights and go to bed!") Rowling writes fantasy/mystery books like no one else. If there were and award for "most magical writer," she, in my opinion would win. Her descriptive words and senstational plot make you feel like you were once there and actually in the minds of the characters. In this book she puts all of these qualities down on paper for us to read and invision. No matter if you are in a car, or in bed, this book is always a great choice to read. Harry, the boy who lived, is an extraordinary 15 year old wizard in the wizarding world, who goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry, who has been battling with Voldemort, his archenemy, for nearly four years, finds himself face to face with him once again. Dispite negative feelings toward him by others, his best friends, Ron and Hermoine, will always be there to help him no matter what the circumstances may be. With the O.W.L.S. comming up, Harry has to deal with those, girls, and Voldemort. With the loyalty of his friends, will Harry ever survive? With hidden morals of listening to your heart and trust, this action-packed book will keep you guessing and guessing what the outcome will be. With Rowling's magnificent storyline and sharp dialogue, this book is a sure fit for you to enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Harry is still working magic! Review: I found this book to have both positive sides and negative sides compared to the rest of the HP series. Indeed it was extremely long which is good, but it was, in parts at least, problably the most boring. I'm not saying it was boring because obviouly 4 stars is good but im just saying if it's along book its no fun reading alot of boring stuff, but i guess it was in there for a reason. Otherwise after getting past the first 200 pages of the 900+ page book you will be sucked into reading it. The first two pages took me 6 days to read. The rest, 6 hours. A great buy!
Rating: Summary: The Order of the Phoenix Review: ~After reading the first four books in this series and enjoying them very much, I was excited to finally read the fifth book. This book, although long, is great. It has many twists and turns, so you never know what to expect.I also liked this book because it is different than the other four. For example, almost every year Harry goes to Ron's house before school sstarts. In this book, he doesn't. I think that adds alot of excitment to the book because you are experiencing something totally~~ new. In conclusion, i think this book is a great book and i can't wait to read the next one.
Rating: Summary: The Best Yet Review: I ran into this book while shopping with my mom in a nearby store. I had no idea that J.K. Rowling had published another book and since I have read the first four I decided to take on this one too. So I purchased the book and decided to take a look at it. During the first part of the book it went really slow and almost made me think I should quit reading it. But some pages later the book started to pick up its tempo and I was immediately entranced by the book. J.K. Rowling goes into much detail with the book and answers a lot of question I had on Harry Potter that I wasn't able to pick up in the first few books. Also it seems like she also put a lot more dialogue in this book than she did with the others. Though one could say that this was a bad thing it was actually quite interesting and helpful. I was able to learn more about other characters too while I was reading, what was humorous to them, how they react to danger, what they do when they want to act mischievous. A lot of the characters that were not really mentioned in the other books actually appear more in this book. Overall this book was really exciting and worth a 5 out of 5. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a good adventure.
